chapter 2

A few days later....

BettyPOV: It's been 4 days since I spent the night with Jughead,after our failed first time together. I haven't heard much from him and anytime I try and go to the south side he's never there. I also try FP's trailer but it's ghost town. He doesn't answer his phone or when he does it's super late at night. I worry about Jughead so much. He's been through such hell and I can tell he's just trying to not fall apart. I just want to make sure he isn't injuired or endangering himself.

Veronica:Betty! betty! BETTY!

Betty:what!

Veronica: you okay?

Betty: no everything is messed up!

Veronica:this town has been  officially sucked into  dark hole

Betty:am I a terrible person?

Veronica: no, ofcourse not! Why would say that?

Betty: cause I feel like a terrible girlfriend

Veronica: Betty you shouldn't feel bad cause Jughead is unpredictable

Betty: I feel like I let him down

Veronica: he's the one letting you down

Betty: what do i do?

Veronica: well I'll tell you what your gonna do

Betty:okay I'm all ears

Veronica: your coming to my house for a sleepover  afterschool and were gonna have fun and get your mind off of this whole Jughead thing

Betty: that's harder then trying to find him!

Veronica: well until he shows up, you need to do you and not let your man make you desperate, then when he comes back roast his sorry ass!

Betty sighs

Betty: okay fine

After school...

Betty: i should probably  call my mom

Veroncia: already done, I took it while we were in lunch and you got distracted

Betty: do i really space out like that?

Veronica: yeah

Betty: man I'm a mess

Veronica: c'mon let's order some pizza

Betty: wait...pizza...THAT'S IT!

Veronica: what's it?

Betty: i didn't check pops! Maybe Jughead is there!

Veronica: well i was gonna order there and then go pick it up but maybe i shouldn't

Betty: no please!

Veronica sighs

Veronica: I might regret this later but Alright

Betty smiles

Veronica calls in the order...

Veronica: okay pop said it'll be a 45 minute wait

Betty: well I'm going to find Jughead

Veronica:or...

Veronica yanked  my  arm

Veronica: we can do face masks?

Betty: your not gonna give up are you?

Veronica: nope

Veronica said popping the p

Betty: fine put it on my face

Veronica: yes!

Veronica runs off and comes back with the face masks

Veronica: i got them

Betty: cool

Veronica: Betty i will take your phone and throw it out the window

Betty: I'm setting a time for when we have to leave

Veronica : sit still

Betty: im sitting

Veronica: you'll have a total new face once im done with this

15 minutes later...

Veronica: alright go wash off your face mask

I get up going to the bathroom. Turning the warm water knob and then the cold. Splashing my face with the water,using my hands scrubbing off any excess face mask residue. Then I grab the towel and dry off my face. As I finish drying my face off, I look at the  doubled mirror along the turquoise bathroom wall. I had put makeup on my face this morning to make me look less tired. But it failed me and I still looked like a sleepless zombie. I sighed walking back out to Ronnie's living room

Betty: okay im back

Veronica: and you look fabulous

Betty: can we go now?

Veronica: no! There's still 30 more minutes

Betty: well that's too long for me

Veronica: come on let's just wait for your phone timer to go off

Betty:ugh!

I pounced on the couch and burried my face into the couch cushions till the timer went off. When it rang I sprang up like a pogo stick and slammed it off then ran for the door

Betty: Ronnie let's go!

Veronica  coming

Then Ronnie and i left going to her car and off to Pop's. Once we get there Veronica goes to the counter and i run to the back of the shop looking to see if i can find Jughead. I run near our usual table and see...

Who does Betty see? Jughead or someone else?-Romanceismydrug101
