Chapter 20

Betty goes to Archie's house to talk to him about a few things based on what Veronica told her

Betty takes a deep breath before knocking on the door

Archie: hey Betty come in

Betty: thanks Archie

Betty walks In

Betty: so how are you?

Archie: I could be better, but...I'm living

Betty: I'm really sorry about everything that's happened

Archie: why should you be sorry? You didn't do anything

Betty: well I'm here for you Archie

Betty smiled

Archie: thanks Betty

Betty: but there is something I need to talk to you about

Archie: sure what is it?

Betty: it's about the whole baby thing

Archie: why? Is something wrong with the baby?

Betty: no there isn't anything wrong

Archie: that's good

Betty: Archie I know you don't exactly trust Jughead but he is the baby's father and I need you two to get along

Archie: after what he did to you! Your just gonna act like nothing happened?

Betty: Archie.. Please don't yell and look I know that we have been through a rough patch but that's mine and Jughead's business ,the two of us have talked it out and things are better between us

Archie: but your gonna let your unborn child possibly be endangered by the serpents?

Betty: Archie my unborn child isn't in danger and the serpents haven't even come near me since they found out a couple weeks ago

Archie: Jughead is a serpent which exposes you and the baby to danger

Betty: please Archie you need to trust me

Archie: because of the serpents they might be the reason my dad was shot! And I can't risk loosing  possibly anyone  else I care about which includes you Betty

Betty: Archie I can see that you care but so does Jughead

Archie was pacing around breathing heavily and feeling manic

Archie: why risk your life to demons who don't care about anyone but themselves Betty! You have people who love you and your gonna risk yourself?

Betty: because I love Jughead and I want to be with him and besides this baby deserves to have two parents!

Archie: my parents are separated and I'm fine

Betty: well I don't want that for my child and you shouldn't either!

Betty started to get really stressed and had tears in her eyes

Archie: I just want you and your child to be safe
