Chapter 11

Previously on Dark paths

Betty started to feel a little lightheaded

Betty: I..I'm fine..

Veronica: you look like your gonna pass out

Betty: I just need some water

Betty wakes into the hallway with Veroncia following behind seeing Bwtty sway a tiny bit

Veroncia:Betty! You need to sit down

Betty: No I d...Don't

Betty whined being stubborn

Veroncia: Betty, listen to me! You're sick like really sick and need to go home and rest

Betty tried to say something but instead leaned against the lockers to steady herself but ended up sinking into the floor with shallow breathing

Veroncia: Betty!?

Veronica: stay with me okay and try to breathe

Veronica calls 911

Betty tried to steady her breathing but there wasn't enough oxygen flow to her lungs and Betty only breathed harder as she felt her body slowly shut down. Not aware of her surroundings to hear sirens in the distance as Betty was lifted and put on oxygen and a pulse rate monitor taken off to the hospital immediately.

At the hospital...

Betty was rushed immediately to be tested and stabilized while Betty's mom and sister were being notified and on their way.

Varchie come to see Betty during free period which was the last of the day being greeted by Alice and Polly

Polly: hey guys

Veronica: Polly , Mrs. Cooper any news on Betty?

Alice: nothing it's been an hour

Veronica: I tried to tell her to take it easier but then she passed out

Polly: at least you were there with her , your a great friend to her Veronica

Veronica: thank you Polly

Polly: your welcome Veroncia

Archie sits back in his chair

Archie: hopefully she's okay

Veroncia: yeah

2 1/2 hours later...

The doctor comes out

Doctor: Elizabeth Cooper?

Betty's mom,sister, and varchie stand up

Alice: how's my daughter?

Polly: is my sister going to be okay?

Doctor: Elizabeth was very dehydrated and stressed out so we've out her on some fluids but we also found her iron a tiny bit low so I'm going to order folic acid pills for her and it will help her especially with the pregnancy
