A few hours later Polly wakes up in her new recovery room
Betty: hey Polly how are you feeling?
Polly: sore and exhausted
Betty: I'm sorry Polly
Polly looked down at her stomach and got nervous
Polly: where's my babies?
Betty: baby Elizabeth is with the nurse Getting some tests done and the other one is still in the NICU
Polly felt her eyes water
Betty: hey it's okay I'll go see if they're done with Elizabeth
Polly: I just want both my babies together in my arms
Betty: and they will be soon enough
Polly: I really hope so cause I don't want anything to happen to my other child
Betty: me either but to make you feel better I got to hold Elizabeth and she's beautiful
Polly: I wanna see her
Betty: well let's ask the nurse then
Betty presses the call button and a few moments later another nurse comes in
Nurse: I see your awake Mrs.Cooper do you need anything?
Polly: I wanted to know when I'd get my baby back cause she was taken to be tested
Nurse: let me go find out
The nurse leaves quickly and comes back
Nurse: okay so Elizabeth will be back in a few minutes and your other baby remains in the NICU
Polly: how's my other baby?
Nurse: you'd have to ask a NICU nurse but I can send someone by later who can answer your questions
Polly: thank you
The nurse leaves
Betty: see that's good news
Polly: yeah
Betty: but in the mean time do you need me to get you anything or call anyone?
Polly: just Cheryl
Betty: okay
Betty pulled out her phone to call Cheryl
Cheryl: hello?
Betty: hey Cheryl I have something to tell you
Cheryl: Is Polly okay?
Betty: yeah she actually just had the twins
Cheryl: really? OMG I'll be right there!
Cheryl hangs up and heads over to the hospital
