Betty stared up at her bedroom ceiling trying to fall asleep but couldn't. Fear and anxiety arouse over her about Jughead. Costantly Betty has been losing her mind over him. wondering if he's hurt or lost or even okay. All she wanted to do was embrace him tightly and lay her head into his shoulder while he embraced her ever so lovingly and gently. Betty picked up her phone and the time read 2:45 am. Betty huffed and texted the boy with the crown benaie.
Betty:Juggie ik it's been only a few days since we last were 2 gether but I'm scared about u and I need 2 know u r ok! I can't take this silence for days okay! I need to feel closure from U so please answer me back!
Betty sent the message and started crying again unsure of how to handle her emotions till she heard her phone go off and she snatched it up quickly to see the message
Jughead: I'm ok Bets just a little bruise won't kill me
Betty: where r u?
Jughead: pop's , I needed an escape from a job I have 2 do
Betty: can u come through my window? I need u
Jughead: I was gonna come but I thought u were sleeping
Betty:no I haven't been able to sleep
Jughead:I'll be there soon
Betty reads the message and sets it down
15 minutes later...
Jughead comes climbing up the ladder to Betty's window and quietly knocks on the window. Betty gets up and opens the window allowing Jughead to climb through and she grabs him tight letting out more tears and trembles
Jughead:what's wrong Bets?
Betty:Juggie I-I can't loose you
Jughead: your not going to loose me Betty
Betty: I can't stop worrying one day you'll be gone or dead
Jughead: the serpents wouldn't let that happen ,they're my family
Betty:then what's up with the bruise
Jughead:it's nothing
Betty: no it's something
Jughead: Betty I'm okay
Betty:no you're not Jug, your using the gang to drown out your pain and it's making you loose sight of what's infront of you
Jughead: I'm stuck in the Southside till my dad gets out of prison or my mom let's me go to live with her in Toledo
Betty:what about me?
Jughead: you'll always have here
Betty: do you not want me anymore?
Jughead: Betty we've talked about this
Betty:no! I'm sick of it ! I'm tired of feeling left in the dark and alone cause you're putting yourself in another place you can't leave!
Jughead: you're not alone okay you have Veroncia,Archie, and your family all here for you , i don't have anything
Betty:Veronica and Archie are your friends to!
Jughead: my friends are on the Southside
Betty:wow, just wow after everything they've done for you! your just gonna push them away!
Jughead:Archie don't need me anyways
Betty: Jughead please don't push everyone out cause your in pain , let us help you through this together not alone
Jughead:it's for the best
Betty: are you just gonna let your pain keep escalating and push me out to! cause I have done nothing but love you and stick by you when you needed me but you can't do the same for me anymore?
Jughead: I'm protecting you, you can't see it or feel it but I am and you'll thank me later
Betty with tears dripping down her face backs away to her bed
Betty:how are you protecting me?
Jughead: I can't say
Betty: so you're just gonna keep secrets from me now? what happened to always being open with eachother ?
Jughead : I'm sorry I can't tell you now but eventually you'll understand
Betty: just go Jughead, you've done nothing to help me but only hurt me! so just go and live your life cause obviously you've choose them over me and you won't admit it!
Jughead: hurt you? I've been spending my every free second with you because I love you and now your framing me for causing you pain? you don't even know what pain is! You don't have it nearly as bad as i do! you have your family,friends,perfect grades, cheerleading and your just good at every thing! i have none of that so I don't think you understand my pain cause all you think about is yourself!

Betty: if you truly think that then just leave me like you have everyone else! Cause I don't wanna be the girlfriend who always gets left behind and the boyfriend only comes around when he wants to! so GO!
Jughead: I'm sorry
Betty: GO!
Jughead: I do love you Betty
Betty:GET OUT!
Betty clenches sinking her nails into her hands not stopping as she watches Jughead leave then slams her window shut going back to her bed to cry herself to sleep
