chapter 14

The next morning...

Betty wakes up feeling tired and sick

Betty jolts up and clutches her stomach

Betty:ughhhh not again

Varchie walk in..

Varchie:morning Betty

Betty:hey morning guys

Betty said still clutching her stomach looking over at them

Archie: you look a little green

Betty:I'm fine

Betty bit the inside of her lip slowly laying back down as she set her hands down

Veronica:morning sickness?

Betty:umm.. Yeah

Archie:doc said you can leave as long as you go home and rest

Betty:good

Betty sighed

Betty:Archie can you help me up?

Archie:yea sure

Archie holds out his hand for betty as she takes it

Betty: well i need to change so can I have some privacy

Veronica: we'll be back

Varchie leave and Betty feels her stomach turn again as she races to the bathroom with hit liquid rising to her throat as she fell to her knees and threw up

Veronica: Have you heard anything from Jughead?

Archie: no but I give him till the end of the week and if he don't co,e around I'll go hurt him for real this time

Betty eventually got up and washed her face , changing into her clothes that her mom brought her and went back to the room. She put on her shoes and opened the door

Betty: okay I'm ready to go

Archie: wanna go back to your house?

Betty: yes please I'm exhausted

Time skip to Betty's house...

Polly: hey Betty welcome home

Betty: hey Polly

Betty hugged her sister

Betty: I think I'm gonna go to my room

Betty looked at the stairs still feeling a bit weak

Betty: ummm Archie ?

Archie: need some help?

Betty: yes please

Betty hated she couldn't do it herself but didn't fight back

Archie: okay princess Cooper

Archie lifted Betty up to her room and set her down

Betty: thanks Archie

Archie: no problem

Betty: I appreciate you and Veronica helping me, it means a lot

Archie: we'll do anything for you even if you know who won't

Betty's smile dropped

Archie: sorry

Betty: it's okay

Betty looked out the window as her eyes brimmed with tears

Betty: I just need some space right now

Archie: okay but if you need company Veronica and I will be at my house

Betty: thanks Archie

Archie: feel better Betty

Archie walked back downstairs and Varchie go to Archie's house

Betty pulls her knees into her chest looking out the window wondering how much longer jughead will take to make her wait and wonders if he still even wants the baby or not? Or if he even still loves her?

Then Betty's phone dings with a message from Archie

Archie: ik u have lots going on but turn on the tv 2 channel 9 something's happened with jughead

Betty panicked as she read the message and raced downstairs which wasn't a good idea and she took a breath as she sat down on the couch turning on channel 9 news

Reporter:  thank you Tom and hello Riverdale I'm Angie Florest here on channel 9 news here to report at the scene on Southside boulevard where a motorcycle accident and four other cars collsion has taken place.The drivers are unknown but the motorcycle driver has just been identified in a black serpent jacket with dark brown hair and oh this is just in the motorcycle driver's name has just been identified as 16 year old Jughead Jones, son of FP Jones leader of the serpents. Betty didn't think it was possible for he heart to possibly break further as she started hyperventilating moving backwards. She met the wall and sunk down to the floor crying uncontrollably , clutching her stomach

Betty:  I need to see him now

Betty said to herself

Veronica text Betty

Veronica: U ok B?

Betty text back

Betty: no, I need to see him now! I can't let him die without knowing how I feel

Veronica: I'm sure he'll be okay but come over to Archie's

Betty: kk

Betty got up and walked over to Archie's house knocking on the door . As her cheeks were still red from her tears

Veronica answers the door hugging Betty immediately and brings her to the kitchen

Archie: well looks like we're going back to the hospital again

Betty nodded as she still felt a little Shakey and weak

Archie: Woah Betty maybe you should sit down

Veronica: she can sit in the car now c'mon!

Betty: No I'm fine but Jughead isn't so we need to go now .. please

Time Skip To the Hospital ...

Betty took a deep breath as she followed Varchie not knowing what to  expect from Jughead

Archie: Jughead is probably still unconscious so you'll be doing all the talking Betty

Betty nodded as her breathing got  a little unsteady

Veronica: You sure wanna do this Betty?

Betty: I'm fine I just  need to do this

Betty walked into Jughead's room not turning back

Jughead was laying very still unconscious as he looked beat and torn down. His hair was shaggy but still drooped down the right direction over his face. On his forehead under his hair he had a huge cut that was stitched and bandaged up. His dak undereyes were darker then usual and his skin was as pale as a corpse. Even the vibes from his room were dead and quiet. As the only sound you could hear was the monitor and oxygen machines both hooked to Jughead.

Betty walked over to his bed side and pulled up a chair as she sat down and took Jughead's left cold fragile hand with an IV in it.

Betty: I love you so much Juggie, please don't die on me  I'm nothing without you so I'm begging you to please wake up cause I can't loose you , I need you  and so does our little baby

Tears streamed down Betty's rosy cheeks as she lost sight of her emotions
