Chapter 22

45 minutes later outside east of Riverdale ....

Betty looked up to a cute little house that was the shade of blue

Betty: is this the place?

Jughead: yup this is it

Jughead turns off the car engine and gets out stretching as Betty goes to the backseat grabbing her bags

Jughead: woah Betty let me get them! You shouldn't lift heavy weights

Betty: Jughead I can handle this

Betty ignored him and took her bags out

Jughead: but it's not good for you to lift heavy items

Betty sighed

Betty:fine but you're not going to let me do anything on my own are you?

Betty put the bags down

Jughead: not for awhile no

Betty: I'm not even that far along though

Jughead: I'm not taking any chances

Betty : let's just go inside

Jughead: there's a key in the flower pot pick it up and unlock the door

Betty:yes Jughead anymore demands?

Jughead: please?

Betty shook her head and grabbed the key to unlock the door waking in

Betty: wow it's bigger on the inside

Jughead: come on let's head upstairs

Betty: but I wanted to look around

Jughead: tomorrow now up we go

Betty: ugh yes boss

Jughead: 2nd door on the right

Betty walks up the stairs to the bedroom

Jughead set down the bags as Betty glanced around the room

Jughead sets down his serpent jacket and goes over to Betty quickly kissing her on the lips then pulls away

Betty smiled

Betty: thank you for always taking care of me and our baby Juggie

Jughead: I love you to the moon and back Bets I'll do anything for you

Betty: I love you too Juggie

Jughead: do you wanna unwind and relax in bed together

Betty: yeah

Betty smiled taking off her shoes and coat  about to crawl into bed when Jughead swoops her up and carefully lays her down as he slides in next to her and kicks off his shoes

Betty laughed

Betty: I guess with you I can't even walk on my own

Betty kissed him and rested her head on his chest

Jughead: I'm sorry I just love you and want to treat you like my princess

Betty: oh Juggie what would I do without you

Jughead: I don't know

Betty: you're going to be such a good father

Jughead: I don't know about that but thank you

Betty smiled and snuggled up against him

Jughead: I'm going to figure out things for us Bets but I just need you to trust me
