When we reached the car we stopped to catch our breath, we had ran from my house.

We leaned against the car. "Do you mind if I drive? It would make things easier since I know where it is." I said.

He handed me the keys. I had my learner's permit and since Alex was a licensed driver, it was easy as pie right?

I got in the driver's seat and turned on the engine. This car was a hell of a lot different from my mom's car, which was a old Honda Civic. As I backed out of the driveway Alex finally realized something.

"You've got your license right?" He asked.

"Well, I've got my learner's permit in my pocket. And since you're a licensed driver it should be fine right?" I said as I pulled away from his house.

He sighed in relief. "Yeah." He said sitting back into his seat.

After about fifteen minutes into the car ride, Alex started getting anxty "Are you gonna tell me where we're going anytime soon?" Alex asked me sitting up in his seat.

"Nope, You took me to the fair without telling me where we were going, now it's my turn." I said smiling and sticking my tongue at him.

He rolled his eyes and sat back into his seat. "Fine."

I turned down the old gravel road with all the turns and twists that I walked down so many times as a kid.

"You aren't taking me out to the woods to strangle me, hide my corpse in a tree and then flee to South America are you?"

I turned to him slowly in amazement of his randomness. I honestly have no idea what the fuck goes on in his head.

"No Mr. Creative." I said sarcastically.

"But that's a good suggestion, I'll keep that in mind." I said wiggling my eyebrows.

"What?!" He said turning his head so fast, that he could of gotten whiplash. I laughed so hard at his reaction that tears were starting to form.

"You...should of...seen your face!" I said in between laughs as I continued down the road.

"Very funny." He said sarcastically, rolling his eyes and looking out the window again.

"Where the hell are we going anyways?" He said turning to me.

"An old place my dad used to take me to. When we get there, we'll pull into an old two story house property." I said.

His face turned from curiosity to confusion in seconds. "Okay then." he said.

We passed a few acres and then out of no where, we turned onto a rocky, old paved road that was wearing away. The car was bumping up and down so much I felt my butt lift off the seat almost 20 times in only a few minutes.

"You trying to ruin my tires woman?" He joked as we bumped up and down.

"No, it's just that the last time I was here it wasn't this bad." I said as the car bounced up and down. We finally reached the end of the concrete and landed about an inch onto grass. I stopped the car and got out.

I looked at the house that I hadn't seen in almost eight years. There was no more paint on the house, just red brick with mold growing on it. There was lots of moss on the house from the over hanging trees around it. There were a couple of broken windows, probably from the animals that are making camp in my grandparent's old house.

"Have you seen Evil Dead Nova?" He asked me.

"Yeah, why?" I said turning to him.

"Well, I'm getting a pretty good deja vu vibe right now." He said, looking up at the house.
