Alex POV:
Aiden and I had gone out of town to see a concert, Nova couldn't go though. Besides, she didn't really like the band that we were seeing.
"Dude, Dude, the best part was when he reached down in the crowd and pulled out that guy, he was hilarious!" Aiden said as we were on the interstate, on our way home.
We probably wouldn't get home until at least two in the morning, since it was already eleven, and we just left the concert 30 minutes ago.
"Definitely man, hey, could we stop for some food? I'm starving." I said.
"Sure." Aiden said, pulling off at the nearest exit.
We pulled into a McDonalds and decided to go in. We both walked up to the counter and looked at the menu, but surprisingly, for almost eleven at night, there were at least 10 people in the resturaunt, including some girls who were smiling at us.
I smiled back, knowing that I had a girl freind and Aiden swung the other way, so it wouldn't be a problem.
When we reached the front of the counter, the girl behind, flashed me a flirtatious smile.
"Hello, welcome to McDonald's, may I take your order?" She said in a southern accent.
Aiden glared up at the menu. "I'll have a McRib, small fry and large sweet tea." he said before taking out his wallet.
"And, I'll have a Big Mac, a medium fry and a large soda." She typed in our order as shesmiled and chewed her gum, a bit loudly for my taste.
"It'll be right up." She said smiling.
I grabbed my cup, which she managed to scribble her number on to. I looked at her and she smiled. The condensation from the soda'll probably wash it off anyway.

After we ate, we got back in the car and started down the interstate again. As we were driving, I looked in Aiden's glove compartment for a CD to listen to, sure enough, I found a Pierce the Veil CD and I popped it in.
As we were listening to the music Aiden reached over the console to grab his tea, only taking his eye off the road for a second, before a semi truck swerved into our lane.
"Aiden look out!" I said reaching my hands over to the wheel to swerve out of the way but it was too late.
Everything went blurry and I tasted blood and I felt a big thud just before darkness over came my vision.

Nova POV:
I was sitting in my room, on my laptop.
"I'm hungry." I said subconciously to myself. I walked downstairs to the kitchen. Life was so boring without Alex. But he and Aiden should of gotten home by now, it was almost 1 in the morning. Don't ask me why I'm up, I beg to differ that I have a slight case of insomnia.×
I grabbed a poptart and before I could take a bite, my phone vibrated from the back pocket of my sweat pants. I grabbed it, and saw it was Riley, why would she be calling me this late. I shrugged and answered, my phone cuchioned between my shoulder and my ear, so I could eat my poptart.
"Hey what's up?"
"Good your awake." Riley said in a raspy voice, like she had been crying.
"Riley, what's wrong?" I asked suddenly, cause Riley never cried.
She sniffled before answering. "Aiden and Alex were in a car crash. I guess a truck driver fell asleep at the wheel and-"
I dropped my phone and stood there. My heart started to pump at a rate of 80 mph and I started to feel sick.
