After we finished bowling a couple games, we all made our way to the arcade and plugged some five dollar bills into the token machine.

When the machine spit out the many tokens that we all paid for, we each took a handful and made our way around the countless games.

I walked over to the motercycle game and battled against Riley a couple of times before making my way over to Alex who was playing the basketball game with Aiden and Ryder.

I hugged him from behind and kissed him on the cheek before making my way over to the game beside that one, which was a skee ball game, I was extremly talented at this game, my highscore was over 200,000.

I put in the four tokens into the machine and the balls rolled out the dispenser and I immediately grabbed one, aimed and threw it down the lane, throwing the ball into the 10,000 hole.

I threw all of them until there was only one ball left. I glanced down at the ticket dispenser, and there was already almost twenty tickets--and counting--coming out of it.

I looked back up at the game and threw the last ball, landing again in the top hole, the 10,000 hole. That caused almost twenty more tickets to come out.

I grabbed them and ripped off the last ticket off the slot. I counted them by fives, I had almost 100 tickets, and that was only from one game.

I smiled and walked over to Alex, who was surprisingly behind me, smiling at me. He hugged me from the side and pulled me over to our friends; Riley and Ryder were having a battle at the motercycle game.

"I bet $20 that Riley'll win." Aiden said nudging me in the side as we watched them.

"You're on." I said watching them, I honestly had no idea who would win.

"Here." I said in an agervated tone, Riley won so I pulled a twenty out of my back pocket and put it in Aiden's outstretched hand.

We left shortly after, Me and Alex drove home in his car.

I sat in the front seat leaning against the window, looking out at the town on this friday night, most people were out even though it was already 11.

We pulled into my driveway and I saw that my mom's car wasn't here, she must of gone out with her friends after work. Alex said he would stay with me until my mom got home, he was protective over me, he didn't like me staying at home alone. I usually wouldn't like that, but he was my boyfriend and I loved him so why not?

I got out of the car and walked up to the door, Alex following close behind. I got out my house keys and unlocked the door. I walked in and slipped off my shoes at the door and dropped my keys on the door side table, before walking into the living room and laying down on the couch. Alex sat down beside me and stroked my hair as I stared up at the ceiling.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear. I smiled and turned my body over, leaning against my elbows and looking up at him.

"I love you more." I said in a teasing tone.

He pulled me up so that I was leaning against his side. "I love you most." I smiled as I remembered that he quoted the line from my favorite Disney movie Tangled.

We just sat there like that, enjoying eachother's company until my eyes started to flutter and shut, making me tired. Until Alex laid down on his back, and I rested my head on his chest, listening to his peaceful heartbeat until I fell asleep.

__

I woke up the next morning to the constant thumping of Alex's heartbeat. I rose my head to see his chest rise up and down peacefully and his eyes flutter closed, I guess he was dreaming.

I sat up and stretched my arms up and gazed at the sunlight pouring through the window. I got up and realized that it was Saturday, I had absolutely nothing to do. I walked in the kitchen and grabbed a poptart and then walked back into the living room and sat back down by Alex.

I finished my poptart and gazed down at him, he looked so beautiful when he slept. I couldn't help myself, I leaned down and kissed him on the lips. His eyes fluttered open and when he realized what was happening, he joined in, deepening the kiss.

I let go and leaned against his chest staring at his eyes. "Morning." I said smiling.

"Good morning it is." He said smiling at me. We sat up and just sat there for a few minutes. It was the end of winter and it was the middle of February. I suddenly remembered something and grabbed my phone, which I had sat down on the coffee table lastnight. I checked the date and smiled.

I remember Riley talking about the absurdness of Valentines day, since she was single.

I turned to Alex and smiled. He looked back at me with a confuse look. "What?" He asked chuckling at my stare.

"Guess what day it is." I said, still smiling.

"Um, Saturday? I don't know." He said wrapping his arm around my shoulders, gently pulling me into his side.

I shook my head. "Guess again." I said glaring up at him, still with this goofy smile plastered on my face.

"I give up." He said before kissing the top of my head.

"It's February 14th." I said with a smile. "Happy Valentine's day." I said smiling at him.

"Damn, I forgot to get you something." He said looking guilty. "I promise I'll-" I put my finger over his mouth.

"You being here is enough." I said leaning my head against his shoulder.

He sighed and leaned his head against mine. "What would I do without you?" He said sweetly.

After about ten minutes of just sitting there, I looked at the cable box and saw it was only eleven in the morning. I got up and stretched before walking to the front door and opening it. I felt the cool breeze graze against my skin and I felt the relaxing sunlight beat down on my skin as I calmly sat down on the grass in my front yard and sat criss-cross-applesauce.

Alex followed shortly and sat down identically next to me. I looked at the clear blue sky, only a couple clouds in a sky that wandered for miles. I laid back on my back and put my hands behind my head.

Alex did the same. We just sat there in silence cloud gazing.

"It's beautiful isn't it? I said staring up at the clear sky.

"Yeah." He said, I could tell he was smiling.

"The earth is so beautiful." I said sitting up, looking around our peaceful neighborhood.

"You're beautiful." He said still looking at the sky.

"You just keep on saying that." I said rolling my eyes.

"It's true." He said, not looking down from the sky.

"Sure."

"Believe it." He said just before surprising me with a deep kiss.
