Bonus Chapter 1: Dude, she's gonna be speechless.

[This is the beginning of a BONUS part of the book. The remaining chapters are ALL bonus chapters from after they graduate.]

"I'm so fucking excited!" I said, bouncing in my shoes.

"I can see that." Alex said as he looked around at a few people looking over at us. He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, nodding his head at people who were looking.

"I gotta crowd surf!" I said in a hyper voice, still bouncing up and down.

"You'll get to crowd surf, babe." Alex said, tucking some of his hair behind his ear with his hand, he was holding my hand with his other hand.

We were at fucking Warped Tour and I was stoked. Pierce the Veil was performing today and I was about to loose it, I was so excited. We were waiting outside the gates, they were supposed to open in about five minutes.

*Two weeks earlier; Alex POV*

I showed the guard my VIP pass and he let me through. I walked onto their tour bus where the guys were sitting.

"Hey man, what's up?" Vic asked me as he stood up and shook my hand.

"Hey, I'm Alex Walter. I was wondering if I could ask a favor of you guys."

I had planned it all out. Nova and I were going to warped tour in a couple weeks and I had my proposal all planned out.

"Sure, what did you have in mind?" He asked as I sat down on a couch across from him.

"Well. My girlfriend and I are coming to your Atlanta date in a couple weeks and I wanted to propose to her. You guys are her all time favorite band and I was wondering if you could maybe sing a specific song while I go onstage and say a little something. I'll pay what ever amount of money it takes, I just would love to see the look on her face if I were able to do this."

Vic looked up at me and smiled. "You must love her a lot." He said and I chuckled.

"With all my heart." I said and he smiled.

"Sure, we'll help. Won't we guys?" He asked and Jaime nodded.

"Of course dude, we'd be glad to help."

"Thanks guys. You know how I said I wanted you guys to perform a specific song?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, it's not exactly one of you guys' songs." I said with a laugh. "It's kind of our song." I said, scratching the back of my neck.

"Sure man, what song?" He asked and I sighed in relief. I honestly thought that this would cost a fortune and bleed me dry, but I never expected them to be so chill about the whole thing.

"It's You're My Best Friend by Queen." I said, with a small chuckle.

"I love that song." Jaime piped in with a laugh.

"Same here, Queen was an awesome band and still is." Vic said with a smile.

"Well, could you guys maybe perform it? Because it really does describe our relationship, we met in high school and she's just always been my best friend."

"Of course man. Do you wanna do it at the end of the set?" He asked and I nodded.

"That would work so well. Thank you so much." I said standing up and shaking his hand again.

"Here, let me give you my number in case you need to get a hold of me." I said, pulling out a small piece of paper with my cell phone number scratched down on it that I had done on the way here.
