We walked into the cafeteria and said goodbye to Riley and Ryder.
"Why are you guys leaving, the dance isn't even half over!" She said in dissappointment as she sat at her table, Ryder's arm resting across her shoulders.
"He's taking me somewhere, but he won't tell me." I said, pointing my thumb towards Alex.
"That's because it's a surprise." He said and I stuck my tongue out at him.
"Besides, dances aren't really my thing anyway." I said and Alex nodded, wrapping his arm around my waist, pulling me towards him.
"Okay, well see you later guys!" Riley said as we waved and started to walk out of the room.
"Is there any chance at all that you'll tell me?" I asked, jouting out my bottom lip and making a puppy face.
"Nope." He said, kissing the top of my head and I sighed as we walked out the school's double doors.
We got in his car and started to drive, when he pulled onto our street I looked at him in confusion.
"Why are we going home?" I asked as he pulled into my driveway and stopped the car.
"Go get dressed." He said and I laughed.
"What are you talking about, I'm not exactly naked." I joked.
"Just put on a band shirt and skinny jeans and meet me back here in ten minutes." He said as we got out of the car. He walked over and caught me by surprise when he crashed his lips onto mine, I responded quickly and when he finally let go he pointed to his wrist.
"Ten minutes." He said, walking down the drive way and down the side walk towards his house.
I shook my head and walked up to the front door, taking my keys out of my clutch and opening it. It was only seven thirty and mom should be home.
I opened the door and walked upstairs to my room. I slipped off my dress and ran a brush through my hair. I had absolutely no clue what Alex had planned. I slipped into my black skinny jeans and threw on a Pierce The Veil shirt. I applied some light eyeliner and mascara before putting my straightened hair into a pony tail.
I checked my phone and wondered if it had been ten minutes. I looked out the window and saw Alex leaning up against his car and I smiled. He looked up and smiled back.
I grabbed my phone and slipped on my black converse and walked out the door. I met Alex at his car and we both got inside as he pulled out of the drive way.
I noticed that he was dressed the same, except he was wearing a Sleeping With Sirens shirt.
"How long will it take to get there?" I asked.
"Probably a half an hour." he said and I opened his glove compartment and searched through what CDs he had. I sighed, not in the mood for any of the CDs.
I remembered he kept an AUX cord in there and I searched for it, grabbing it and plugging it into the input. I plugged it into my phone, searching through my songs and played Fall Out Boy's new single, American Beauty/American Psycho and turned it up.
"How'd you know I love this song?" He asked with a smile and I shrugged.
"I just know." I said, sitting back into my seat and gazing out the window.
__
I guess I had drifted off to sleep because when the car stopped, I fluttered my eyes open to see a huge arena with a bunch of teens walking in crowds down the sidewalk.
