Ch. 16 : I'm the girl that's about to beat your fucking ass.

+++Two Months Later+++

Two months of having this annoying cast on, and I'm finally getting it off.

Not much happened these past months. I mean, me and Alex are still together, two months on Monday. My dad got sentenced for three years in jail. I wasn't that surprised or disappointed actually. I mean, he attempted murder while drunk off his ass. I think that should deserve three years.

Me and my mom have gotten closer. She doesn't work as much as much as she used to and we have weekly movie nights. Basically me and my mom just sitting on the couch watching a romantic comedy while eating Nutella.

I was sitting in the waiting room at the doctor's office with my mom.

"Miss Kelly?" A short plump woman said walking out of the door looking at her clipboard.

"That's me." I said getting out of the chair and grabbing my crutches.

When we got to the room, my mom sat down in a chair in the corner and opened a magazine. I took my phone out of my pocket and I smiled at the screen.

One new Message from: Alex ♡

I opened it and smiled.

Can't wait to see u l8er ♡

I tapped 'reply', but before I could type a reply the doctor walked in. I quickly locked my phone and slipped it back into my pocket.

"Hi Nova, you ready to get your cast off?" He asked with a smile on his face.

"Am I ever." I've had this thing on my foot for at least two months. I will be glad to be actually walking instead of hopping around everywhere.

He slowly slipped off my cast and I smiled at my small, pale foot. There was a small scar in the center where they stitched my foot after removing the bullet.

"Why don't you walk around to see if it feels alright?" The doctor said putting my cast down on the bed.

I hopped off and walked around the room, my foot felt good as new, no pain what so ever!

"It feels great." I said smiling at my mother.

"Well, it seems like you're done here. Have a nice day Nova." He said walking out of the room with a smile.

I sat back down and slipped on my left converse and hopped off the bed.

It was a Friday, my mom had taken me to the doctor's in the morning before school.

It was already into 2nd block, I had P.E. with Alex.

When I got to school, we were outside in the feild, just hanging out, the coach said I didn't have to dress out since I was late.

I walked outside and saw Alex on the other side of the P.E. feild.

I smiled and ran lightneing fast towards him and leaped into his arms, luckily he saw me in mid run, so he didn't get tackled down.

"Hey, your energetic today." He said smiling at me, as he held me, my legs wrapped around his waist and my arms wrapped around his neck.

"I got my cast off!" I said smiling so much, I swear my face felt like I had gotten liposuction.

"I know." He said before he kissed me and put me down. I immediatly started running accross the feild.

"Where are you going?" He yelled, smiling at his crazy girlfriend.

I turned around and started running backwards and yelled, "I feel awesome! I'm gonna go run a couple laps!"

He chuckled and turned back to his friends. Since he started school, he had made friends with two guys in our P.E., Ryder and Aiden.
