Prank Wars Chapter 5

Thanks to @destinydrakes for her amazing ideas for Wally's prank! If you guys have any prank suggestions for Artemis leave them in the comments and I'll use them in the next chapter :))

Wally couldn't believe he fell for her prank. He should have known better than to accept any type of food that she has been around. It was like he learned nothing from the Oreo prank. She tried to take away what was most precious to him, his food. But not anymore, he will just assume she has contaminated every piece of food she is near.

How dare she lie about ruining something so sacred like a candy apple? She even had the audacity to lie and say Megan made it. Wally knew, the green Martian was too sweet to do something like that.

Not to mention she knew him enough to know he would reach for her coffee. She was getting more sophisticated using psychology in her pranks. If Artemis was going to take her pranks one step further, then so would he.

He wouldn't let her get one step ahead of him. So after he finished his physics homework in no time he sat on his bed and thought for hours about what would bother Artemis the most in a prank. And in reality he spent a good half an hour coming up with things he knew she hated, like polka and techno music.

Wally (mainly Google) had the idea to put a speaker in her room and play it at all hours of the night. He needed to do it on a day she was sure to sleep over at the Cave, and he needed a good hiding spot for the remote, under his mattress. She would never think of looking there.

And then onto his next phase. He was going to place a fish in the vents above her room to stink up the place. Wally still had a trick up his sleeve. He was going to place a bucket of wet seaweed he got from the beach in a bucket over her door.

All he had to do was make sure no one else went into her room. Then he thought, who would want to go into Artemis' room regardless?

Feeling proud of himself, he went downstairs to eat an entire carton of ice cream.

All he had to do now was sit back, relax and put the finishing touches. In other words, he still needed to set everything up. Wally figured he did enough for the day, leaving the rest to the upcoming one.

The young speedster woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and ready to destroy Artemis. His new prank was not only going to top all of his previous pranks, but all of Artemis' as well. He's taking things one step further and he can't wait to enjoy the view with some popcorn as she ate his dust.

He certainly thought this was his best plan yet, which is exactly why he was taking extra precautions to make sure everything turns out accordingly.

To start, he makes his way to the cave. Wally starts off with placing the smelly fish he picked up from Happy Harbour in the only vent in her room. It took him a while but only because someone hid the ladder.

He had a feeling it was Robin.

Next, he had to place the seaweed (which he got from the beach by Happy Harbour), in a bucket over the door so it tips over as she walks in.

It took him a couple of trial and errors with paper before he could actually get it right. His timing was perfect because they had a late training session where Artemis usually stays over.

There would be no escape from the Prankmaster he thought. They call him the Bart Simpson of Central City.

At last, he placed a speaker into the same vent with the fish. If she wants to disconnect it, she'll have to touch the raw fish. It would be killing two birds with one stone. If he's lucky he'll hear her shriek.
