Spitfire One-Shots Chapter 13

Prank Wars Chapter 3

Wall was itching to get back at Artemis. He wanted to get her back. He wanted to get her back good. Kid Flash wanted this to be a prank so good, she wouldn't be able to come up with anything. The only problem was that he had no idea what to do. Obviously, it had to be something that would bother her and annoy her to great lengths.

Personally Wally thought his prank of dying her hair was hard to top. The dye was starting to fade, but there were still some streaks in her hair. They looked more like highlights at this point. It pained Wally to admit this, but the highlights did look good on her. He may not like her, but he can admit when she looks nice, not out loud though.

Wally had a couple of options to find out what would vex her the most. The first was trying everything he could think of and hope for the best. The second was asking Robin to look into the file that Batman has on her (he has a file on everyone and everything). That one might be a little hard to execute.

Robin wouldn't just give him the information if he just asked. He was Wally's best friend, but he was still the son of the greatest detective in the world. Robin wouldn't make things easy for Wally. He would make him work for the information and look like a fool in the process. That option was out. He wasn't that desperate.

His last option was to ask Green Arrow. He doubt, the archer would help him. However, Oliver did have a sense of humor. And if all else fails there is still Red Arrow right?

Wally really hoped someone would help him because he was slowly ideas. All he knew at this point was that he needed to prank her twice, to get back at her for eating the toothpaste Oreos and dying all of his clothes green.

The dye wouldn't come out of his clothes! He washed it dozens of times, and it still had a green tint to it. And unlike Artemis' hair, it did not look good on him.

Wally needed something that would last her or awhile, or at least take a long time to get rid of. Maybe he could do this on his own. Well, he did have a lot of physics homework to work on, so some help would be appreciated.

Therefore Wally did the logical thing and pulled out his phone and started to search up funny pranks. He got a lot of ideas from The Office. He could put her stuff in jello, but that would annoy him more than it would her. She would probably like jello, he hated it. The one thing he wouldn't eat willingly, besides vegetables.

He did get a few good ideas. All he needed was a couple hundred post-its and an air-horn. Simple enough really. Now that he had his plans, it would only take him a couple of minutes to put everything together, 15 minutes top.

He was Kid Flash after all.

And that is how, Wally found himself inside Artemis' room a few hours before a mandatory team training exercise. During lunch, he ate pretty quickly (well quickly for a speedster) and headed out to Happy Harbour for some of the supplies.

As it turns out, finding an air horn is a lot harder than it turns out. It took Wally a solid half hour to run from store to store. He had to rush back to the cave to strategically place the air horn under the spinning office chair in her room.

Wally proceeded to grab a red pen and draw his logo on every singly post-it, then proceeded to stick them everywhere in her room. They filled up every corner of the room, from the walls to the door, even to the spare clothes she kept in her room.

He used his super-speed to get it done fast enough, obviously. The post-its were a little more time-consuming than he originally expected. Wally was beginning to cut it close, training would start in a matter of minutes.

Kid Flash quickly finished covering her room in his wonderful logo. Personally he thought that the room looked much better that way. It really brought the room together. She was going to have a lot of fun cleaning all of this up. That thought alone made things worth it

Wally rushed out of the room. He still needed to place the air horn somewhere where it will scare her. Time was running out. He panicked and hid it behind her door, covering it with post-its. Originally it was going to go under her office chair but it would have looked too obvious.

Now all he had to do was wait and watch everything play out. Kid Flash zoomed on his way to the training room where everyone was already waiting for him.

"Sorry, I ate a big lunch." He apologized watching them shake their heads at him. He stood next to Artemis, flashing her a sly smile.

"Nice hair." He told her.

"Nice shirt." She replied, her comment as quick as ever.

"Do you want to partner with me for training?" Wally asked her. She looked at him cautiously. "What's in it for you?"

He laughed at her. "Artemis, this isn't some evil plot. Besides, it's not like you're my first choice either, everyone is already paired up." Artemis looked around to find out that indeed everyone else already found a partner. Their conversation kept her distracted.

Connor and Megan were together, Robin and Aqualad paired up leaving Artemis with Wally. She groaned, but agreed nonetheless. They got into position following Black Canary's instructions. Then they began to fight it out.

Neither Artemis nor Wally was holding out on each other. It's what made them good partners. They got in some good punches and kicks. Overall it was a good training day. And for Wally it was going to become better.

After training the team spread out to hit the showers and change. Wally and Megan were the fastest ones so they helped make dinner for everyone. In other words, Megan was doing all the cooking and Wally was there trying to sneak some food for himself.

One the bright side, he finally had some time to do his physics homework. He was in the middle of doing a complicated question when it happened. The sound of the blaring air horn echoed off the cave's walls. A scream was followed shortly.

Wally sat there smugly, looking down on his homework.

"I hate you Wally West!" She screamed. He got up and ran to her room to see her face.He invested too much time and energy not to see her reaction. And it was worth it.

Her face was red, matching the logos all over her room. Her eyes were narrowed into a glare with such fury that if he wasn't so amused he would be terrified.

"I love your decorating skills. Have fun topping this." He walked away from her back to the kitchen laughing.

A/N: Wow it's been a long time since my last update in July. I have so many on-going stories going on right now, and not enough time to write them. I don't know when the next update will be for this. I will post an announcement if I figure it out. I do know that the next chapter will start a new segment. I need some time to figure out what Artemis will do back.

Anyway what did you guys think about this chapter? It took me a while to come up with something Wally could do to get back at Artemis. Let me know what you guys think in the comments below.
