I hadn't seen Kian since Homecoming. It was the weekend and my mom had plans for us to hang out for the whole two days until school started again on Monday. So Rachel, Mom, and I went to the beach and a bunch of popular and fun places in the city. Kian and I texted most of the time, though. He kept telling me that he couldn't wait to see me, and I felt the same way about him.
Ever since Kian and I kissed Friday night, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I confessed my feelings for him and he did the same. I've been looking forward to see him Monday even though I'm extremely nervous. I'm not an expert on dating at all, I'm still new to it. I've only dated one guy before and that obviously didn't go well at all.
I'm still in shock that Kian actually likes me back. Yeah, he had dropped hints, but I hadn't picked up on them. Like I said, I'm not an expert on this stuff.
Tomorrow is Monday and all I can think about is seeing him again. I'm nervous and excited and happy all at once. I have no idea what's going to happen or what I'm going to say to him, but I hope I don't mess this up.

Walking into school was like turning the page to a part of a book that you know something big is going to happen. You can feel it, you just know it. I didn't know exactly what was waiting for me in these halls, but I hoped for the best.
I spotted Selena's half pink and half black hair from where I stood at my locker. "Hey, Sel!" I said, getting her attention before she could turn the corner. She smiled at me and walked over.
"What's up, Buttercup?" She asked cheerily.
"So, you know what happened between Kian and I, right?" I asked.
She nodded, "Yes, I do know that fate has finally sealed you two together in a sweet kiss in the parking lot of Putt Putt Fun." Of course, Selena always has to put the simple things into poetics.
I rolled my eyes and let out a small chuckle. "Well, I need some advice on what to do next."
"Well, that's obvious." She said. "You march up to him, ask him out, and then he's your boyfriend. Easy."
I raised my brow at her, "Do you know me?"
She rolled her eyes, "Come on, Davina. It's not hard. I know you're shy and all, but I really think that you should go for it." She said and then paused for a second. "I mean, what's the point if you don't try?"
"No, I get that. I just don't know if he's supposed to make a move or if I am, or if there's even a move to be made." I rambled, waving my hands around as I spoke.
She stopped me before I could continue. "Sweetie, you're freaking me out a little."
I eyed her blue eyebrows and her school dress that looked like it was meant for a kid in first grade. "You're the freaked out one?"
She rolled her eyes and shoved me lightly. "Shut up and go find Lawley."
I chuckled and made my way to first period where I saw Kian sitting in his usual seat in the back of the class. I walked over and sat in my seat, causing him to tear his eyes away from his notebook and look up at me.
He smiled, "Hey."
"Hey." I said and smiled back.
We just kind of stared at each other with goofy smiles, like they do in the movies. I don't know why we didn't say anything, but I was kind of grateful because I didn't know what to say.
