a/n: hello, I just wanted to say something real quick. i'm a white girl writing about a mostly all black cast so if I do something wrong/inappropriate (which I make sure I don't), please call me out on it! I honestly feel like books (especially wattpad fanfic) need more representation so i'm trying my best. I have a shit ton of books in my library about writing poc. if you want to give advice or call me out on something, please do! I welcome constructional criticism! also this chapter is a really happy and cute one so I hope you like it!

"What do you think's gonna happen on Monday?" Rachel asked me. I shrugged, despite her head resting on my shoulder, and kept my eyes on the TV. We've been watching GirlBoss on Netflix for a few hours and haven't bothered to get off the couch. I've missed hanging out with my twin, we've both been too caught up in boyfriend drama lately.

"I don't know. Maybe she'll back off-"

"Or do the exact opposite." She sighed. "This game of hers...I never saw it coming." I nodded, wrapping the blanket tighter around us. "Friends don't do this. I'm sick of people being snakes in disguise, their true colors are fucking ugly."

I scoffed in agreement. "You can say that again."

All weekend, we've been pondering the Selena situation. The betrayal hurt us and we couldn't help but wonder if she even felt bad at all. If any part of her regrets what she did. She hasn't texted or called anyone to apologize, and I doubt she will any time soon.

"Rach," I spoke, "I don't want us to loose anyone else."

She took a moment before replying. "We might have to, but we'll be okay. We got each other. Twin Bitch Power."

We both burst out laughing and it felt nice to feel happy for a few seconds. I wish moments like these came more often. We settled back into a comfortable silence, letting the show capture our attention once again.

Not long after, my phone dinged and I checked to see that Kian texted me. Rachel saw from the corner of her eye and held a small smile on her lips. I rolled my eyes and read his message.

Kian: hey love, how are you?

Davina: could be better but i'm okay.

Davina: what about you?

Kian: same. I miss you.

Davina: I miss you too.

Kian: have you heard from selena since Friday?

Davina: nope, she hasn't spoken to anyone, not even Emilee. but jc and rach are still going strong.

Kian: i'm just worried cuz I know she's gonna do more.

Davina: me too. but we'll be okay.

Kian: I know. I don't want you to go through anymore shit.

Davina: it's life kian, i'll survive, I promise. thanks for being here.

Kian: always.

Davina: I love you

Kian: I love you most

Emilee's frown didn't leave her face as we walked through the mall and it pained me to see her sad. She was always happy, always showing off her smile. The current situation has really been getting to her. Selena is- was her best friend. But she has a no-negativity-bullshit policy for the people in her life.
