Kian's POV

It's been a few weeks since the party. Nothing very important has happened except Selena posted something about Jc on Instagram. It was a picture of them from sophomore year with the caption 'my boy'. Rachel wasn't too happy and posted a picture of her and Jc kissing as a form of revenge.

But since then, nothing has happened. I've been trying to keep Davina occupied so she doesn't think of the drama all the time. We've spent almost every single day together since the party. I've taken her out to eat after school, seen a few movies, and even had sleepovers at my house on the weekends. My mom didn't seem to mind very much but still requested that my bedroom door stay open throughout the night.

I want Davina to be happy. She deserves it after everything her parents, Sienna, Grayson, and even Selena have put her through. I want to be the one that makes her days good and keeps a smile on her face even if shit's hitting the fan.

She texted me asking if I could come over to her house. I, of course, said yes and immediately headed out the door.

As I parked in her driveway, I noticed there were no other cars at the house. She must be home alone. I knocked on the door and could hear soft footsteps running down the stairs. The door swung open seconds later and revealed my girl with a grin on her face. I took in her appearance and looked her up and down slowly. She was wearing a blank tank top and some white shorts, along with a grey jacket that was unzipped and hanging by her elbows. I suddenly felt frozen, but a different kind from every other time I've seen her.

As a teenage boy with a beautiful girlfriend, I'm pretty sure I can figure out why.

"Hey," She spoke and held the door open for me. I smiled at her and walked through. My hands caught her waist, making her stand still, and she looped her arms around my neck to steady herself. "I didn't expect you to come so soon, I haven't even gotten dressed yet." She chuckled as she looked down at her outfit.

"You look perfect..." I said, staring where I shouldn't have been for a split moment before meeting her eyes again. She didn't seem to notice and just continued smiling. We walked into the living room and I saw she was watching a Disney movie on Netflix. Davina turned the volume down as we sat down on the couch. "Anyone home?" I asked, itching for the answer. I shouldn't be feeling this way.

She shook her head, "Nope, it's just us."

I nodded and turned my attention to the tv, hoping for a distraction. I could feel her eyes on me and I knew she thought something was up. Normally I never stop talking to her, never want to stop hearing her voice. Now I'm trying not to do something that's too fast for her.

"You okay, Ki?" She said softly, resting her fingers on my bicep. I prayed for my thoughts to switch topics.

I swallowed hard and clenched my jaw, not wanting to lie, but not wanting to tell her the truth either. I didn't know what was so special about today that made me start seeing her like this. Of course I've always been attracted to her. I've always looked at her and thought, 'Damn, how can someone be this beautiful?'. But lately we've been spending so much time together, we've fallen in love, I think I'm starting to want more of her.
