This book is finished and I'm happy ;);)

Important news before I start getting all sappy: This book in part one of a collection. It's not a series. Micah and Greg will not be returning, sadly. But there are two other books in this queer soulmate trilogy, on different topic and perspectives of the LGBTQ+ community that I plan on writing, so stay tuned for more updates on that.

Now a short message.

I did not write this because I'm one of those straight tumblr girls who fetishize gay relationships. I wrote this because representation is important. As a member of the LBGTQ+ community myself, I feel like in this white washed, heteronormative society, where racism and sexism are still alarmingly abundant, there are those kids out there who struggle. Whether it's coming to terms with your sexuality, gender identity, dealing with mental illness, disability, or being slandered for your race.

Now obviously I'm not making a terribly huge impact on this small writing community, but I'm hoping this is the start of something bigger. If this is where my voice is loudest at the moment, then I'm going out take advantage of that. So this book is for you kids out there who struggle. Whoever you are, no matter what you identify as, you are a human being and deserved to be treated as so. No matter what anyone says, you are valid, and I care very deeply about you all.

I tried my best to cover a lot here. If you're trans (or anything brought up in the book) and noticed I got some wrong, or fell into a false stereotype, please point it out. I tried my best to do as much research, but alas, I am human. Offending people is the opposite of what I'm trying to do here.

Anyways, whoever, wherever you are, I hope you're having a good, or at least relaxed day. Thanks for reading.
