I felt Finn tense beside me. Even though I know nothing about Joe, I can tell that it makes Finn uncomfortable. I grabbed his hand and traced soothing circles into his palm. He relaxed a bit but his eyes were still cold.
'I don't care if you are my best mates girlfriend or not, but seriously nobody has the right to say that. That's just down right low and if that's all you can come up with then that is truly sad.' I stuck up for Finn.
She didn't respond instead she grabbed her purse and Jacks hand and pulled him out of our apartment.
Jack looked at me. The moment our eyes met I felt electricity and he knew it to.
'Please' I mouthed at him.
'it's complicated' I think he replied.
The door slammed shut leaving me Finn and Shona.
'Well, er.. Finn you might need to go now.' Shona said slowly.
Finn started to get up to leave but I grabbed and pulled him back down.
he's staying here.' I told her.
Shona looked a bit puzzled but didn't comment instead she nodded and walked to her room.
Finn joined me on the sofa. The t.v was still buzzing in the corner but none of us could be bothered to turn it off.
'why did you want me to stay?' he asked.
'I don't know, I had that feeling that I was doing the right thing.' I replied flopping down on the sofa.
