Chapter 25 : Umbrella, Rain and Tears

Lisa's Pov

I'm lucky it's my day off tomorrow. No Jin and no Yoongi tomorrow. I quickly washed the dishes and carefully placed them on the shelves. I dried my hands and fixed my self. I heard a loud thunder from the kitchen and from the looks of it, it's raining heavily outside.

"Great, I have no umbrella" I said and heaved a heavy sigh before heading to my locker.

I opened my locker and grabbed my bag but something fell on to the floor when I pulled my bag. I looked down, and it was an umbrella. Whose this belong to? I looked carefully on the umbrella and saw a piece of paper being hanged from the handle. I read it and it said:

See you after work, at the park near Jin hyung's resto. I'll be waiting...

Jimin? What does he want right now? I walk out of the resto quickly to avoid bumping into Jin. I opened the umbrella and sparkly black and pink confetti fell down, Jimin really loves to surprise me. I smiled a bit and quickly ran to the park where Jimin said through the rain. When I arrived, I saw him, drenched and staring straight at a couple who was playing under the rain. He looked away and saw me. He smiled, but his smile is fake, I can see it.

"Jimin? Are you crying?" I asked and I tried to reach for his face but he dodged my hand.

"What are you saying? It's just the rain, silly" he tried to laugh, but sadness is still evident.

I looked back at the couple and then at Jimin.

"I'm not dumb to not know the difference between tears and rain Jimin. You're crying, what's wrong? And who are they?" I asked but he just ignored me as he walked straight in the rain.

"Jimin! You'll get sick!" I yelled and chased after him to cover him but he just walked even faster.

"Go away! I want to be alone!" He shouted back but I still chased him.

"Jimin, just tell me what's wrong? Who are they?" I asked and he finally faced me and this time, I could clearly see tears in his face while the rain tried to hide it.

"You want the truth? That girl!" She pointed at the park where we saw a couple.

"That girl is the reason why I was miserable! She's the reason why Hoseok hyung can't even look at me!" He shouted as I widened my eyes in shock.

"She's the reason why I'm like this. She used me, she threatened me. I wanted to have revenge but I can't. It's also my fault. I lost my dream and my brother because of her" he cried and was about to kneel down but I quickly caught him which resulted me to let go of the umbrella.

"I'm so messed up Lisa" he whispered and sobbed while hugging me.

I just caressed his back softly as we hugged in the rain. I know he needs this. He needs someone who listens and someone who understands. Later on, he chuckled and pulled out from the hug.

"I called you out for a date but instead I made you drenched in the rain" he chuckled and I smiled, he's back again.

"Can I visit your house? I don't feel like going home today" he asked and I was a bit hesitant but I still agreed.

Jimin's Pov

"Come in, it's a bit messy. But please feel at home" Lisa said after opening the door of her house.
