Chapter 13 : Being ready was gone to waste

Lisa's Pov

I felt bad. Why? Yoongi and Jin are avoiding each other. Is it because of what happened? Jin and Yoongi would always give each other glares and sometimes they would hurt each other through words.

"What could've happened to our hyungs, why are they always fighting?" Namjoon asked while looking at the two.

"At least I can control my hormones, unlike you" Jin spat.

Yep, it is about me.

"I'm not a bird brain who even can't be honest with his feelings" Yoongi remarked.

Jin's feelings?

"Can you two please shut up? Aren't you guys old enough to bicker like this? And what are you even fighting for about? Did you guys happen to like the same girl?" I choked on my own saliva in Jungkook statement.

"Lisa, you okay?" Jimin asked while Taehyung was rubbing my back.

"Y-yes, I just choked on my saliva" I explained.

"Ewww" Hoseok remarked and I punch his shoulder.

"Back to the topic, why are guys fighting?" Nanay asked while placing the snack tray at the table.

"N-nothing" they answered in unison.

"You've been like this for three days and it's just nothing?! How childish can you get?" Namjoon huffed in annoyance.

"It's between us okay?" Yoongi said and glanced at me.

I quickly looked down, trying to avoid his eyes. Instead, I looked at the maknae line who was fighting over the same biscuit. My eyes landed on Jungkook, I need to ask him about the music box.

"I'm outta here!" Jin exclaimed and headed to the kitchen.

Probably cooking his frustration off. Yoongi just scoffed and sat down beside me. He was whispering nonsense things again in my ears.

"No, no!  You're coming with me!" Jin suddenly yelled and grabbed Yoongi through his ear.

"Ow! Hyung!" Yoongi exclaimed.

I just smiled at their cuteness, even though they always quarrel, they still look out for each other.

"You look happy" Nanay asked.

"I was just thinking, it's cute how they always fight but still stick out for each other. Proves that when it comes to family, no obstacles can bring you guys down" I replied and Nanay nodded.

"They got that from their father. Minho would always tell his sons that if they fight, they should still look out for each other. I really admire that boy because of his kindness" Nanay said and I smiled.

I think, I'm ready to tell him those words. Knowing that a kind person would be responsible for my feelings makes happy. But my smile faded, he didn't called me for the past two weeks but he calls the boys. Did he forget about me? My phone vibrated and my smile was back. I jumped from the couch and showed Nanay the phone.

"Nanay he called me! Finally!" I cheered as she chuckled.

"Go and answer it, I know you're waiting for that call" she said and I headed to the garden and answered his call.

"Hello? Minho?" I called out.

"Did you miss me?" He asked, chuckling.

"Of course I do! Why didn't you call me?" I asked and pouted.

"I'm now imagining you pout like a duck again" he said and I pressed my lips together.

"I miss you. I thought you forgot about me" I said.

"Why would I forget the most amazing girl in the world? You're too precious to forget you know that?" I smiled at the thought that he always think about me.

"17 more months. I hope you'll come back sooner" I said and he chuckled.

"Don't worry, I have a surprise for you when I get back" he said and it made me jump in excitement.

"Really? Will I like it?" I asked.

"Like it? I know you'll love it" he said and I squealed.

"I can't wait!" I said and cleared my throat, but I heard something from the background.

"Who are you calling?"

I raised my eyebrow.

"Who's that?" I asked.

"My assistant, I was doing something but instead I'm stuck in the phone with you" he said and I sighed in relief.

"Are you thinking I'm cheating on you?" He asked and I quickly shook my head even though he can't see it.

"No! I trust you. I would never think of that" I said and he just hummed.

"I love you" there, I finally said it.

But instead of a response, I heard the line was already cut off, he hung up on me.

I was ready for nothing. My efforts we're gone to waste.

"Lisa~" Taehyung called out in a sing song way.

"What?" I called back with a bored tone.

I don't feel like I'm in the mood. I already said I love you but he didn't answered back. Maybe this is what he feels when I don't answer back to him.

"Yah, are you okay?" I flinched when Taehyung rested his head on my shoulder.

"What are you doing?" I asked as I try to get his head away from me but he just linked his arms with mine.

"I asked first. Are you okay?" He asked and looked in my eyes.

"No, he didn't answer. I feel like I want to crush your father to pieces and feed him to the sharks!" I said Taehyung looked at me with amusement.

"Why? What did Dad do?" He asked.

"I told him I love you but he didn't answer back" I frowned and Taehyung's jaw twitched.

"I love you, isn't a question, so why would you need an answer?" He asked raising and eyebrow.

"I know, but still. I want to hear it again" I said, weakly.

"I love you" I looked at Taehyung with widened eyes.

"What?"

"I love you. You wanted to hear it right? So there" he said with an obvious tone.

"Not from you, but from your Dad" I said and rolled my eyes.

"I mean it though" I frozed.

"Lisa, I know I said it before. I love you" he whispered and held my chin up to meet his gaze.

"Why?" I asked.

"Ask my heart, not me" he leaned in and our lips almost met when we heard someone cleared his throat.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you hyung" I quickly leaned away from Taehyung and looked at the person in front of us.
