Chapter 21 : Bothered

Lisa's Pov

We already got home from Jeju and Yoongi and I are avoiding each other. Jimin would ask what's the problem but all of my answer's is either:

"Maybe we're not in the mood" or "Nothing, just busy"

We are currently eating lunch and we're all silent, Nanay even noticed it but just remained quiet.

"Dad is coming home" Jin suddenly blurted out and I felt my heart jumped and I looked at him.

"Really? When?" I asked excitedly since I really miss him.

"Tomorrow" he said lifelessly that made me furrow my eyebrows.

Shouldn't they be happy? They looked like kids who's afraid that a candy might be stolen from them.

"We should cook something or throw a mini party to welcome him" I said excitedly and Nanay nodded.

"Yeah, I think we should" Namjoon replied and Jihyun held his hand.

"What if your father doesn't like me?" She asked worriedly.

"Nonsense, Minho's a good person. He'll accept you" I assured and smiled at her.

I was startled when Hoseok suddenly stood up from his seat and walked out from the house. Is he okay? Being a concerned friend, I followed him out and saw him near the fountain.

"Hoseok?" I called out and he looked at me.

What made me shock is that he suddenly hugged me.

"Are you okay?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I'm scared Lisa. I'm already two steps behind you and I'm afraid if Dad will come, you will be in his arms again. I don't want that" he said and I became speechless.

What is he trying to say?

He put my hand on his chest and I could feel it's beat. I looked at him confusingly.

"I love you Lisa. Ever since I met you, and it's unfair. I was the one who accepted you first and yet I'm the one whose left out! It's unfair seeing my brothers are already ahead of me and hear I am, still confessing" he stated and I quickly remove my hand from his chest.

"You're just confused Hoseok. Come on, let's go back in the house" I said and tried to walk away but he grabbed my arm and turned me to face him.

"I'm not confused Lisa, you're just in denial. Why can't you accept the fact that I love you? Right, I'm just a friend to you. But I want out Lisa. I want to be out of friend zone" he stared completely in my eyes.

"Hoseok, let's go back, please" I pleaded but he didn't listen.

"No! I won't go back until I say all of this" he yelled and I jumped.

He pulled me and lifted my chin up.

"Please choose me" he whispered and our lips met.

I blinked a few times before I got back in my senses and we pulled away. I stayed silent and he left me there, dumbfounded.

This will be difficul.....

I'm currently in the gazebo 9 pm in the evening. Holding my guitar in my hand as I played Bryan Adams' heaven. Humming along to the song as I stared at the stars.

It's been four months since I came here and yet......

I sighed and was about stand up when I heard a voice from behind.

"Why'd you stop?" I turned around and saw Jimin smiling at me.

"It's getting cold and I was about to go back inside. How about you? What are you doing here?" I asked and he sat at the stone railings.

"Same reason as you, trying to clear up my mind" he said and sighed.

"What's bothering you?" I asked.

"The fact that Dad will be all over you tomorrow is what's bothering me" he replied.

"He's my boyfriend Jimin" I said and he looked at me seriously.

"I know, that why I'm bothered. Because he has the full authority on you, and I.... Have nothing against it" he said and looked down.

We remained silent for a moment until he stood up and walked beside me. He entwined our hands and kissed it.

"I want to hold your hand forever like this. I want to be the man that will make you happy. I want to be Dad" he softly said and I looked at him as we stared at each other's eyes.

He cupped my cheek and smiled. He put a strand of my hair behind my ear and stared at me. It made me uncomfortable yet warm.

"I love you Lisa" he said softly and kissed the tip of my nose then on my lips.

He kissed me gently and passionately. But there's something in his kiss, fear and.... Guilt?

"Lisa, I know I'm not the right person to say this but" he sighed and I waited for him to continue.

"Dad is ch---"

"Lisa, there you are!" Jimin was cut off by Taehyung.

And he's not alone, he's with Jin who had a serious face. Taehyung walked towards me and dragged me back to the house. I looked back at Jimin and he was talking with Jin. What does Jimin want to say?

Jimin's Pov

Taehyung dragged Lisa away and Jin hyung walked towards me. He looked serious and I knew he knows that I would tell Lisa about the secret.

"Are you crazy Jimin? Why are you going to tell her that?" Jin hyung asked.

"She has the right to know hyung. She doesn't deserve to be treated like this" I defended.

"If you tell her, she would get hurt. She will run away, do you understand that?" He asked furiously.

"Then how long are you going to keep this from her? She will be hurt even more if we continue to hide this matter from her" I shouted back and he became silent.

"I don't want her to leave Jimin" he softly said.

"I do too hyung, we all do" I said and pat his back.

"Let's go back in" I offered and he nodded.

I really hope we can find the courage to tell Lisa the truth. As much as I want to her to stay, but I also can't let her stay a fool. She doesn't deserve this......
