Chapter 3:
As soon as I ended the call, I was in utter shock. Finn, the stoner-looking, cashier at 7/11 called me. Don't get the wrong idea, it turns out Sierra hunted him now and told him about me. Typical Sierra. She does anything and everything to help people get their way. I love her.
Finn was calling because he wanted to get to know me. We are meeting at enderts beach. Ironically, it's the coffee house I grew up going to. Basically where a ton of people to just walk and clear their head.
"Soooooo?" Abby said, waiting for me to explain the expression on my face. I looked like I was in shock.
"He...he...." I stuttered.
"He?! Who?! What happened?!" Abby seemed to be getting frustrated.
"Finn called" I finally said, keeping my cool. Even though inside, I wasn't okay. "We are going for a walk on the beach tomorrow at 1"
"Oh yea, that kid" Abby shrugged.
We went back to our movie which was almost over. It was where Cady "pushes" Regina George in front of the bus.
And then after 4 hours of popcorn throwing, deep conversations and calling random guys, we crashed.
The next morning, I woke up at 11 to Abby shaking my shoulder.
"Dude I've been trying to wake you up for like 10 minutes! You have to leave in like two hours to meet up with Finn!" Abby informs me, she's practically yelling.
"Okay!! I'm up!!" I tell her, and I run to the bathroom. My hair is unkempt due to my tight curls from yesterday. Mascara has been rubbed down to my under eyes making me look like an punk rocker.
Then I decide that I have to take a shower or else Finn will think of me as a zombie.
After my shower, I walk into my room, and pick out my outfit. High waisted cut off shorts and a maroon crop top that just barely covered my belly button. Adding my favorite dream catcher necklace as a final touch.
"Abby, do I look okay?" I ask Abby, looking down at my outfit.
"You look fine" Abby replies. "But I am going to have to spy on you guys to make sure he doesn't rape you or anything"
"He won't do anything, it's okay" I quickly adjust my bra strap.
"Well, I've gotta go, if you see me with binoculars, don't be worried!"
We both crack up and say our goodbyes. I am now alone in my room with only five minutes until I have to leave.
I run downstairs, my white crochet Toms smacking against the hardwood floor stairs. I then tell at my mom, telling her where I'm going, and I'm out. And I'm out the door.
