Chapter 35
Halloween night finally arose, and I was looking forward to it more than anything.
"How do I look" I laugh, embarrassingly presenting my Halloween costume to Abby and Finn, who were both ready, and siting on the couch.
"Hot" Finn looks at me, his eyes going from my white vans, up to my nurse cap. Abby hits Finn on the chest.
"You look great" Abby giggles, she's wearing what she picked out. The policewoman.
"we should probably go" Finn finally says, and he stands up. He's wearing doctor scrubs, which made me laugh every time I saw, because I couldn't ever imagine Finn being a doctor.
As Finn walks towards the door, Abby and I follow, giggling.

Once we get there, it's not what I expected. It's at a dance club that apparently Brandon rented out for the night. All I could see in front of me was half naked people and strobe lights.
Finn holds my hand, and we walk to about the middle of the dance floor. The music is blared, playing the opposite of Halloween music. Fancy by Iggy Azaelea to be exact.
"I'm going to go get a drink!" I yell, and Finn barely hears me, but he nods.
I walk over to the bar, and ask for a shot tequila. I needed it. The bartender slides the small, frosted glass shot glass over to me. I catch it between my finger tips. I tilt my head back, and swallowed the entire thing.
"Another" I slouch over the counter, my hair falls in front of my face and I hear another shot glass sliding. I repeat. Gulping it down. I keep drinking until I've gotten at least nine shots down.
"Oh god" I feel nauseous. I run to the nearest bathroom. Why does this always happen at parties?
I open one of the stall doors, and lean over. Throwing up uncontrollably. I'm in there for five minutes before I decide to finally come out. That's when I notice a girl standing right beside the sink. She has dark eye makeup all around her eyes, and she's wearing nothing but a skater skirt and a black bandeau with Jeffery Campbell's.
"Finally, you're done" The girl rolls her eyes, and puts out her cigarette on the floor.
"What?" I ask, dragging my wrist from one side of my mouth to the other.
"You've been in there, for like, ever" she replies, pulling a box of cigarettes out of her big black purse. Along with a lighter. "Want one?" She hands me a
cigarette and I accept.
"I'm Allie" The girl, who now I knew the name of, says.
"I'm Ashley" I reply, taking another drag.
"So, you from here?" She asks me.
"No, California. You?"
"Ah yes, California. But me, I'm from here."
And then she grabs a water bottle from her purse. I look at it, there's no doubt that it's vodka.
"I sound crazy, after hearing you belch like that earlier but want some?" Allie laughs, handing me the water bottle.
"Sure" I grab it, unscrewing the cap and pouring it into my mouth, the putting my lips to the bottle.
I hand it back to her, and somehow we ended up on the ground, telling each other everything and making fun of the people who came in and out of the bathroom.
"Like cmon my mom just died, so let's move to New York with your friends and boyfriend!" I laugh, on my fifth cigarette.
"You're crazy" Allie sips the vodka and laughs, spilling it all over herself. We laugh harder.
"Hey, you should meet Abby and Finn, you'll love them" I tell her, slurring my words.
"Yeah let's go" she says, using the wall to push herself up off the ground. She reaches out her hand, and I grab it so I can get myself off.
We walk out, the noise and lights hurts. But I ignore that, and try to find Abby and Finn in the swarm of people, making sure Allie is still behind me.
That's when I spot Abby, she's sitting on one of the fancy couches over by the exit.
"HeYYyyyYYY" I squeal to Abby, she gets up and accepts the hug. "This is Allie! I met her in the bathroom!" I laugh uncontrollably.
"Hi Allie, I'm Abby" Abby says, as I am now on the couch, sprawled our.
"I'm sorry about her" I hear one of them say, I couldn't tell which it was. But I didn't care. I found it very amusing that I met Allie in the bathroom.
"Come on, Ashley, let's let Finn see you!" Abby says, Allie grabbing my left arm, putting it around the back of her neck and Abby puts my right around hers.
"Good ideeeeAAAAaaaa" I kick my legs up as the kept my arms firm.
When we approach Finn, he looks at us and his face looks like her just saw his first born child.
"Ashley! What happened to you?" Finn asks, his tone is playful.
"Nothing! Absolutely nothing!" I reply, my voice sounds like a three year old.
"We should probably get you home" Allie admits, looking at Abby, and nodding. Finn, Allie, Abby and I all go to the exit and catch a quick taxi.
Allie followed us back to my place, and they set me on the bed. I grab one of the big pillows, and hug it. Snuggling it. I hear them all laughing.
I don't remember much more of that night, but I remember waking up next to Finn, in my pajamas and the sound of coffee being made. I open my eyes, and smile. My night was perfect.
