Alone

To be alone,
Is a horrible feeling,
People think your heart is stone,
And that you're an uncaring being.

They don't see you for who you are,
Or for what you can be,
You could be a huge star,
But that's something they can't see.

But the feeling of deep dread,
Is in your heart,
It's linked to your head,
And whenever it can start.

Your heart will pound,
When you see more people,
Others won't hear the sound,
Because it's hidden like the sepal,

Is hidden by the flowers,
Like your heart beat is by your mind,
You feel like tall crashing towers,
But you know there are others of your kind.

Others are out there,
In the same scenario as you,
Your heart you should share,
And they'll share theirs too.

Then you won't be alone,
And you'll help others out,
You can step from your lonely throne,
And release joy in a shout.

Play with your friend,
And have your own fun,
Your heart will then mend,
And you'll know you have won.
