She's Fallen

This is a poem that I wrote for a short story project for my ELA class. I added this in because I wanted to spice things up. Basically, a girl killed herself by jumping off a roof, whose name was Samantha, and her closest friend, Palaine, had to witness it. Hope you enjoy this sadness. Bye Bye!

I am nothingness,
But she is life,
Yet she caved in with sadness,
Due to her strife.

She was lovely,
She showed me I was too,
I thought her life was behovely,
But I was wrong by more than a few.

I should've been there to help her,
I didn't know it hurt her more,
But her actions were a blur,
Until I felt the pain from my core.

She never shed her anguish,
But I was allowed to share mine,
Art was her languish,
But she could never do something her parents did not assign.

Now I only wish to have caught you,
As you fell from heaven to hell,
You've ruined me with your view,
Making me sick and unwell.

I miss you my friend,
Samantha- I'll meet you soon,
There's nothing I can undo or unbend,
But for now I'll wait for the perfect moon.
