Chapter 16: Wedding Day

First things first... soz for being awol since mid-sept last year... just finished my first year at uni and it was really rough, my grades werent great without me writing it so i couldn't write (that would mean sacrificing my small amount of hours of sleep anyways)

Alison's POV

Right. This is it. This is the day. I am becoming Mrs Alison Lauren Rollins. I am marrying Elliot John Rollins. He loves me. And we are getting married.

I stare at myself in the mirror. My dress is flowing behind me, my make up and hair are absolutely flawless thanks to Hanna and Aria. The girls are repeatedly telling me how beautiful I look but it doesn't sound anywhere near as true and heartfelt than when she says it. I need to stop. I can't keep thinking of her like this, she clearly wants nothing to do with me. She hasn't texted me since we spent the night together, nothing. My wedding starts in an hour and she still hasn't shown up. We were all meant to meet at 11, the wedding starting at 3, but nothing. Not a text to any of us or an answer to the others. I should've known. There was no way this could ever end well. She's lost all amount of decency in the past few years. I don't know what I was expecting

'' Ali, you ok?'' Aria interrupts my thoughts

''Huh? Yeah yeah, I'm fine...'' I smile unconvincingly

'' Ali... Don't worry about her... This is your day, don't let her ruin it for you'' Spencer reassured as my heart shouted it was meant to be our day

'' I'm fine, don't worry... '' I just something feels off... What if one day Elliot regrets forgiving me? Or what if I regret him forgiving me?

No. I won't. I am going to be normal for once in my life. I am going to marry a handsome doctor. We are going to have kids. We will grow old together. No need for all that wild uncertainty and adventure nonsense. I've had enough of that for several life times, surely...

''Alison?'' I turned around to be met by a blonde girl with hazel eyes

'' Quinn...'' I breathed heavily

'' Hi'' she smiled shyly

All four of us stared at her, this mysterious person who used to be just a name and a face on Emily's Facebook. I could see what Em probably saw in her when we were young... Slim, in good shape, beautiful eyes to go with an enchanting smile, blonde hair... No doubt she probably looked bomb in her cheerleader outfit. Hey, even if I'm marrying a man, I am still bi and I can still recognise a hot girl when I see one.

'' The infamous Quinn'' Hanna stepped in front of her and sized her up, walking around her in her beautiful turquoise dress

'' Hanna...'' Aria furrowed her eyebrows ''She's not a prey leave her alone''

'' What? Can I not get a good look at the one who changed my best friend?'' Hanna protested

''Hanna!'' Spencer scolded

'' No it's fine...'' Quinn puts her hand up '' You have every right to be mad at me, especially you'' she says looking straight at me, she walk towards me and before I can process what's happening she grabs me in a hug '' I'm sorry'' she removes herself from and grabs my hands '' For everything''
