Something is wrapping around my wrist.
I look down, slowly, to see a vine curling up my leg. I freeze. What do I do?
And then I feel a tug, and suddenly I'm being pulled upwards.
I scream and try to grab onto something on the ground, but grass slides through my fingers as I'm ripped up into the canopy. Vines curl around one of my arms as well and I gasp as they squeeze the cuts covering my body. All I see is green as leaves and branches are being whipped across my face. The ground disappears, and I keep going up and up and up, moving faster than I ever have. My head feels light and dizzy. My stomach hurts.
Finally, I start to slow down. All I see around me are leaves and more vines, reaching towards me and wrapping around every inch of my body. I don't even have time to take a deep breath as one of them covers my mouth. I feel vines tightening around my throat.
I try to gasp as my lungs are crushed by the vines. Everything is getting tighter and tighter, and I try to scream as I feel the tension increase around my hands.
Crack.
Pain explodes through my arm as the bones in my left hand are crushed. I scream and cry, or at least I think I do... I can't see or hear anything anymore.
Crack.
My leg snaps.
Crack.
I feel an intense pain in my lower back.
Crack.
Crack.
Crack.

The boy is sitting in the white room, leaning against the wall and gnawing on corn. He stares at the sweater in his lap, silent. Waiting.
Whoosh.
Click.
He slams the corn down and stands up, looking at the door expectantly.
And then the color drains out of his face.
A tall black creature with dripping skin comes inside, holding a broken and lifeless body. The creature dumps the body on the floor, nods at the boy, and then leaves.
Whoosh.
Click.
"No..."
Kanna's eyes are open. Her body is twisted and bent into different forms and shapes, and blood oozes out of every part of her skin. When she hits the ground, a crackling noise fills the room.
It's the sound of her broken bones grinding together.

"Kanna, please calm down..."
The audio of heavy breathing cuts off, and Vanessa sighs as she listens to the microphone being shoved into Kanna's pocket.
"Why doesn't she ever listen?" The man says, slamming his hand into the control panel.
"She doesn't trust us."
"Why not?"
"Because, Matthew, that devil's filling her head with lies."
"Wait... what's that?" Matthew points to one of the screens.
Vanessa looks up and sighs with relief. "She's going into one of the rooms. That means we can see her."
"Which room?"
Vanessa looks closely at the ID number on the screen. Her face sinks as she realizes where Kanna is. "She's in the room with the vines."
"Oh no..."
