I watched with wide eyes as the lights in the room flicked on.
"Whatcha doin', brother?"
Rick sat up slowly, staring daggers into Marty. I shuddered as his cold eyes glazed over me.
"Um... I was just..." Marty backed away, pulling my arm and shoving me behind him. I looked down to see that his hands were shaking. "I was just.... Uh...."
"That's what I thought."
My eyes widened as I looked around Marty's shoulder and saw Trixie lift her arm, pointing towards him.
Pointing with a gun.
Bang.
I watched as Marty fell back, stumbling from the force of the bullet. A sharp pain ripped through my cheek, and as I lifted up my hand I felt blood dripping down it. The bullet had gone through Marty and nicked me.
Marty fell to his knees, and then down on his face. Blood began to pool around him.
Rick sighed. "I knew we couldn't trust him."
My heart froze as I watched him shrug.
"Oh well," Trixie said, twirling the gun in her hands.
I can't move... The front door was right behind me. All I had to do was turn around and open it, and I might escape. Why can't I move?
"We don't have much use for her anymore, either." Trixie pointed the gun at me.
Why don't I feel anything? Why am I not running away?
I watched as her finger started to contract, putting pressure on the trigger.
"Stop!"
Suddenly, the room was filled with golden light. It exploded into the atmosphere, blinding me. I covered my eyes and backpedaled.
But when I opened them again, the light was gone, and Trixie and Rick laid dead on the floor, blood pouring out of their lifeless bodies.
The only one's standing were me, and someone else. Someone new. Someone who had just appeared out of thin air.
And he had green eyes and blonde hair.
I watched as his eyes widened, staring at me. But not at my face, he was staring at my stomach. I looked down.
Blood.
Blood was pouring out of me, staining Marty's sweater. I frowned, and then suddenly I was on the floor. My head hurts... what's happening?
I blinked a few times, but everything around me was going fuzzy. I couldn't make out any shapes anymore.
"Kanna! Kanna!" A muffled voice was screaming at me. It sounded like it was underwater. "Can you hear me? Kanna!"

My eyes open quickly. My breathing is heavy. My heart is pounding. I sit up slowly, looking over at Lu, frowning. Crying.
I don't remember anything after that. There's nothing after that. I don't know how I know, but there are no memories after that night.
There's nothing. My eyes feel strained as more tears slip out of them. That moment was the end.
That was the moment I died.
I died.
I died, and Lu was there.
