"(R/N)? Hey, wake up." a familiar voice called as a strong hand shook my shoulder. I opened my eyes and turned around to find Suga, he had obviously just woken up as well.
"What?" I asked, a little irritated that somebody had woken me up.
"Let go of my arm." Suga growled, also irritated from being up early. I looked down at my hands to find them wrapped around Suga's arm.
"Oh, sorry." I apologized and quickly released his arm.
"Yeah, whatever, it's fine. Do you want some coffee, since you're up anyway?" Suga asked as he stood up and checked his phone.
"Not like I'll be able to go back to sleep, so yeah. What time is it anyway?" I shrugged. Suga threw his phone on the bed next to me, it already had the time displayed on it. 4:16 AM.
"Why are we even up this early?" I whined.
"Because I need to work and you wouldn't let go of me. Anyway, if you want, you could come to the workroom with me and learn something." Suga explained. I nodded hesitantly in response.
"Fair enough, but I want coffee first." I sighed.
"Yeah, yeah. We'll get coffee." Suga waved away my comment. I stood up and collected what I would wear for the day then I turned and stared at Suga for a moment.
"What?" Suga growled after noticing me.
"I need to change." I muttered, feeling somewhat embarrassed.
"Oh... okay, I'll just go change in the bathroom while you're in here." Suga nodded and grabbed his clothes off the dresser, quickly walking out of the room. It didn't take us long to get ready and for me to get my coffee, soon enough we were on our way to the workroom and it didn't take long to get there either.
"Well, this is it. It's kind of messy, me and Namjoon are usually the only ones in here, so I'm not sure how it gets this way. Anyway, I'm going to try to write a song, you can help if you want." Suga announced as we entered the room.
"I don't have any experience writing songs, though." I said shyly.
"You have to start somewhere." Suga responded quickly. I shrugged in response and sat down next to Suga, leaning over to look at the paper in front of him. I could feel his shoulder touching mine and it took all I had to not freak out and jump away from him.
"So, how do you even start with writing a song?" I asked. Suga took a moment to respond.
"There's a lot of different methods, but I usually just start with what I want the song to be about. What do you think it should be about?" Suga sighed. I wasn't sure if he was asking because he was out of ideas or if he was testing me somehow.
"How about a song about finding love?" I asked. I immediately regretted saying it.
"Alright, I guess that works." Suga said, hesitantly. We worked for what seemed like the entire day, but it was only nine o'clock in the morning when we finally finished.
"Do you want to go back home and sleep or work on the dance?" Suga asked as he locked up the workroom.
"I'm so tired, I don't think I could dance if I tried." I pouted. Suga assumed that meant going home, he began walking towards the exit and I followed. It seemed like it took longer to get back to the dorm and an eternity to drag myself into our room and drop onto the bed. Suga wasn't far behind me and pushed me over to lay down as well. The two of us were both quite skinny, but somehow we had managed to cover the entire queen sized bed.
"Please tell me you don't do this everyday." I huffed. Suga turned his head to look at me and I mimicked him.
"Sorry, but it's just the way things are." Suga sighed. I pouted my lip at his words, feeling bad for him.
"That must suck." I said plainly.
"Well, today wasn't as bad." Suga have a small smirk and closed his eyes. I didn't hesitate to do the same.
