I stared at the stuttering mess in front of me with a grin on my face. He is really adorable.
"I can't understand you when you ramble like that." I informed him, finally. Yoongi let out a deep sigh in response.
"Do you want to go get something to eat?" Yoongi finally got his question out. I raised an eyebrow in question.
"Are you asking me on a date?" I smirked. Yoongi rolled his eyes, but ignored my comment.
"Are you coming or not?" Yoongi growled. I smiled in response, skipping over to him happily.
"Lead the way, sir." I smiled at Yoongi's rolling eyes. He was trying to act annoyed, but he just couldn't hide the smile creeping onto his face. He absolutely loves when I do cute things like this. Yoongi opened the door and gestured for me to follow, which I did.
The restaurant that Yoongi had decided on was a only a few blocks away from the dorm. It was a small establishment called Misa's Place that was apparently known for serving amazing Japanese food. Yoongi was sure to request an outside table, knowing that I would absolutely love the view of the fairy lights strung up above us.
"Well, this is romantic." I pursed my lips to hide my smile, but failed.
"Yeah, I know you like this kind of stuff, so..." Yoongi trailed off, not quite sure what else to say.
"It's nice, I really like going out like this with you." I smirked, taking a glance up at Yoongi from my menu. He returned the look.
"You know what? We don't know that much about each other." Yoongi finally spoke up.
"That's true, but I don't know, I kind of like the Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Handsome look. Well, minus the tall." I smirked jokingly.
"Ha ha very funny. Seriously though, we barely know each other." Yoongi continued.
"So what?" I questioned, suspiciously.
"So, tell me a bit about yourself." Yoongi urged. I stared at him in thought for a moment.
"Alright, sure. I'm from America, Miami to be exact. I've never really had an actual job, I jumped straight into my singing career. I don't get attached to people too easily and I've only ever dated like one person before you." I explained. Yoongi narrowed his eyes at me.
"You're from America?" Yoongi questioned, slight disbelief in his tone.
"Yes, but my parents were Korean so I grew up speaking English and Korean." I nodded. Yoongi slowly nodded as well, he never seems to process things like this well.
"Well, I suppose I should tell you about myself now." Yoongi straightened in his chair, prepared to give you his whole backstory.
"No, it's fine. I've already read up on you online." I smirked.
"Oh, so that's why you didn't care to talk about life stories. You already know mine so why should you tell me yours." Yoongi shook his head, trying his best to hide a smile. I shrugged innocently in response. Dinner went on smoothly with casual banter and laughs being exchanged. About two and a half hours had past by the time the that Yoongi and I had finished our food and decided it was time to go home.
"Was it just me or did this date seem too short?" Yoongi piped up as we slowly walked through the scenic route back to the dorm. I glanced over at him, not really expecting him to say something like that.
"You took the words right out of my mouth." I laughed. Yoongi nodded, dropping his gaze to the ground.
"Well, we'll have more dates, right?" Yoongi came to a halt, causing me to stop as well.
"Obviously." I assured the man. He nodded, looking up to catch my gaze with a tooth grin.
"Good." Yoongi nodded, smile only growing. We sat in a comfortable silence for a while, simply staring up at the stars that were framed perfectly by trees.
"We should end this date here then, shouldn't we?" Yoongi broke the silence, turning to face me.
"We should." I agreed, nodding and turning to be face to face with the man. Yoongi hesitantly leaned forward, giving me a long, romantic kiss to seal our date.
Little did we know that someone was lurking in the shadows, ready to bring bad publicity our way.
