Epilogue 2

Mae

"Maggie! Sweetie, we gotta get dressed! Auntie Christina, Madison, and Kaitlyn will be here soon." I call from the bottom of the stairs.

"Mama! I don't know which bathing suit to wear!" I hear a desperate whine coming from the hallway upstairs.

I smile softly, "bring two downstairs and we'll choose."

Soon enough I see an adorable three year hop down the stairs with her choice of bathing suits in hand.

My little daughter, Maggie Paige Hayes. She has the mixture of my blonde hair and Hunter's dark brown hair. Her bright blue eyes are a shade lighter than my own and she has chubby cheeks like me, but her personality is closer to Hunter's more than anything. She's crazy and has a lot of imagination, which is why I love her.

"I like the pink one." She states, pointing to the polka dotted one piece.

"So not the purple one with unicorns?" I ask.

"Nope." She replies, confirmed.

"Alright, lets change into it then."

I help her slip into her bathing suit and once that's all done we head on outside. Hunter is at the outdoor kitchen, grilling hot dogs and hamburgers for our Fourth of July get together.

"Daddy! Look at my bathing suit!" Maggie squeals.

Hunter puts down the grills lid and goes around the counter to come swoop up Maggie and spin her around.

"I love it!" He proclaims.

I laugh at the two and when Hunter stops spinning, he holds Maggie and kisses me on the cheek.

"Ready for everyone?" He wonders.

I nod my head, "yeah, I can't wait to see my girls!"

He chuckles, "I know you can't wait."

"Mae? Hunter?" A voice calls out.

The back gates door unlocks and in comes Carson and his wife, Hannah. Hannah is a really good fit for him, they met in Barcelona and they dated for a year before Carson even thought about popping out a ring.

"Carson!" Maggie races to him and jumps into his arms.

He picks her up and laughs as she hugs his neck tightly. "Hey Maggie!"

He drops her down again and comes to over to the deck to do the weird bro hug thing and then hugs me as well. Hannah gives us hugs too and we all greet each other.

After awhile, Christina and Madison arrives with their families, and Kaitlyn comes after them.

I squeal in delight when all of my besties are here, hugging their husbands and their kids.

Christina and Toby got married about a month after Hunter and I and as soon as they slipped the rings on each other, they were dead focused on adopting. Growing up, Christina always wanted to adopt and still have her own kids, Toby had agreed. So as of two weeks ago, they finally got matched up with a boy about four year old, Shane. And to add even more excitement on everything, Christina is about eight months pregnant. Her belly is large and she's always tired, but she's beyond excited. They're going to have a baby girl and name her Sara Grace.

Madison and Bailey are still happily married and now have twin boys, Cade and Aiden. They take after both Madison and Bailey's blonde hair and blue, green-ish eyes. They're so much fun and cute. Maggie gets along great with her boys. They love sports, just like Madison and Bailey and I have a feeling they're very gifted in every activity.
