"one ambien prescribed by doctor kim?" i asked as i pulled it up on the computer. "jung hyejin?" i asked before looking at the girl. she nodded her head.
"alright. hold on." i walked away from the computer and went to the back to look through any medications that came in under the patient's name. and there it was. jung hyejin. i grabbed the medication and placed in a non-transparent bag and then walked back to the counter.
"that'll be ₩9755.60," i told her. she starts to search out her small purse before pulling out her wallet along with a credit card. she paid for the medication and had put away her belongings. "would you like me to put it in a plastic bag?" i asked.
"no, it's alright. thank you though." without saying another word, she carefully took the bag and left the pharmacy.
nothing new ever happens at work.
i let out a soft sigh.
