that one day, i allowed him to walk me back to my house. he seemed very happy about it as well. when we arrived at the front of my house, i turned back to him.

"thanks for the sandwich. it was good," i told him. he only smiled. it seemed like it what he was best at.

"thank you for coming to park with me, or else i would have ate my sandwich alone," he said. a small chuckle escaped my lips, and then i looked back at him.

"bye hoseok. thanks for walking with me."

"goodnight, haesoo. sleep well."

with that, i gave a nod of my head before turning around and opened my front door, and then closed it after me. i went over to the window and saw that hoseok was leaving, the only thing i could see was his back. and then, he disappeared.

"so how did that date go yesterday?" chaeri asked grinning.

"i-i wouldn't call it a date," i softly said not looking at her as i placed some medications away on the shelf.

"then what would you call it then?"

i stood there and didn't say anything, well because i didn't know what else to call it.

"so what did you guys do? sit and talk??"
"he made sandwiches... we had a small picnic."
"a picnic?! how cute! then what else happened?"

i stopped myself from putting another medication on the shelf before turning to face her. "the sandwiches he made were good."

"oh come on, spill everything," chaeri said.

"well... he told me... he likes me," i said that last part hesitantly.

"did you tell him about–"
"yeah, i told him.. about my condition."
"and what did he say?"

i suddenly laughed just by the thought of it pretending like his voice was in my head.

"he said 'i'll do whatever i can to make you fall in love with me.' and that was it," i told her.

a loud squeal came from chaeri as she jumped slightly in excitement. "that's so cute!"

"quit it chaeri. it's not a korean drama."
"it could be. this can be an opportunity for you."

"opportunity? why?" i asked confused.

"you can finally fall in love."

so like i told my mother if i ever get scouted by an agency who want me to audition at their building and like i become a singer, she said she'd support me. i asked her again another time and she still said she'd support me.

still whacked about that but im pretty sure she'll change her mind later.
