the next morning, i had woken up early due to the fact that i had work to go to. my mother and sister were still asleep in their room, so i slipped off the house quietly. i walked the usual route to work before being greeted by luna who arrived early. i unlocked the pharmacy door as we entered in and got everything set up for that day.
chaeri came in minutes later with a cup holder of three coffee, although she had a confused look on her face.
"hey, did you guys leave some coffee outside?" chaeri asked walking over to the counter placing the cup holder down.
i looked at the cups seeing the steam flow from out the small hole on top of the lids. "no, i didn't buy coffee," i told her. "luna? did you?"
luna peered from the back and saw the coffee but shook her head. "nope. i didn't buy that."
"well, i didn't buy it. i just found it outside near the door," chaeri said studying it.
luna came over and studied it as well. she picked up one of the coffee cups just to inhale the scent but to our surprise we found a small card. chaeri picked it up and read it aloud:
"good morning!
hope you guys enjoy the coffee!-hoseok"
chaeri finished reading, leaving luna squealing slightly.
"are you guys like, dating?!" luna exclaimed.
"i-i.. no! we're not," i said.
"they are," chaeri snickered. "why else would he buy the coffee?"
i looked at the cups as chaeri took one into her grasp. luna took a light sip and a look of satifaction filled her face. "that's good coffee!"
chaeri also took a sip before smacking her lips and nodded her head. "your boyfriend definitely knows what coffee to get."
"he's not my boyfriend," i say back.
"well, girl, get cracking! don't let the opportunity go," chaeri said before she took another sip of her coffee and wiggled a brow.
i looked down at the only cup of coffee in front of me. a small sigh came from my mouth as i took hold of the cup and brought it up to my lips to lightly take a sip out of it.
there was a slight bitterness but the creamy sweetness of it fought over my taste buds. i mean it wasn't bad coffee. my eyes saw the small card in the cup holder, seeing hoseok's handwriting and a smile grew on my face. just then, my cell buzzed in my pockett. i pulled it out and received a text from him.
hoseok: did you get my gift?
"yes. i did. you didn't have to."
hoseok: well, i got to make sure
my angel is ready for the day of work!"thanks hoseok. the girls love it
too, by the way."hoseok: i'm glad!
hoseok: haesoo, do you want to come
by the practice building after work?"mm? again?"
hoseok: please????
"is it important?"
hoseok: it is!! it's really important!
i stared at the text and felt suspicious.
"i guess if it's important, i'll come.
i'll just text my mother then..."hoseok: yay! (:
hoseok: i'm happy now."of course you are."
"well, i have to go now and get to work.
