after work, i went over to the boys' practice building. it started to rain on the way but luckily i made it into the building in time. i walked the same way to the practice room, but i saw the lights were off. slightly confused, i looked around the place trying to find the light switch.
"hoseok?" i asked feeling around the wall. luckily, i found the switch and flicked it on only to see hoseok standing in the middle surrounded by cute, small candles. in his hands, he held a single rose flower.
i looked at him confused and slightly weirded out. "uh... what's going on? i thought you said this was important," i told him as i awkwardly stood in the open space.
"it is important," he grinned. he walked over to me careful not to knock down the small candles as he handed me the rose
"what's this for?"
"for you, duh."i stared at the rose and then at him. "hoseok.. if this is a game to get back at kissing me again–"
"it's not," he quickly said. that's when he shyly looked at the ground with his hands behind his back. "i just wanted to spend some time with you."
i was stunned to hear those words come out from his mouth, but then again, i wasn't.
"come with me. i want to show you something," he said suddenly before taking my hand and pulled me along out the practice room. it wasn't until i realized we went inside of yoongi's music studio. hoseok turned on the lights before closing the door.
he walked over to the computer and sat down pulling up another chair next to him.
"come here," he said smiling at me. still confused, i slowly made my way to the chair and cautiously sat down on it. i watch hoseok clicked a few buttons before a window popped up.
"i was thinking... well, yoongi told me i should show you this," he started to say. he looked at the screen of the computer as i did too and started to click a few buttons. suddenly, an instrumental started to play from the speakers. it was kind of upbeat but slow at the same time, it wasn't until i recognized someone's voice that began singing in the background.
a small grin grew on my face. "is that you singing?"
hoseok gave a smile as he looked back at me. "yup. i sang this song just for the fun of it. i never really saw myself as a singer... although with your voice, i probably thought you were a singer already."
"i'm not professional or anything... it's just... something to keep me at bay," i said that last part softly. we both continued to listen to the song that he covered when all of a sudden he spoke up again.
"do you want to record something? just for the fun of it?"
i looked at him and grinned.
"sure. lets try it."
