69 (the last chapter)

"hun, are you going to work now?" i asked from the dining table as i stopped flipping pages of the magazine in front of me. i heard footsteps walk the hallway as hoseok came into view wearing a suit. i smiled and laughed suddenly when i saw his crooked tie around his collar that he tied himself.

"i need help with my tie," he said slightly embarrassed. i laughed again before getting up slowly and walked up to him, tieing his tie for him.

a soft sigh escaped my lips as i concentrated on his tie. hoseok noticed this. "what's wrong? you sigh when there's something on your mind," he said trying to smile for me.

i looked up at him meeting his eyes. "i just don't like the thought of you leaving," i softly said and looked down sadly. "i know... i don't like working a lot... but i need to do this. anyways... we have mouths to feed soon. isn't that right?" he said smiling as he looked down, placing his hand on my tummy.

i couldn't help but smile seeing how much the bump has grown. after all, it has been 4 months. i placed my hand over his before he leaned in kissing me sweetly. and then he pulled away. "i'll be back soon. i love you," he said smiling before putting his jacket on.

"i love you too hoseok." i walked him to the door and watched him go on his way. hoseok was right. we needed the money and he was the only one between the two of us who could work since after all we were going to have an extra mouth to feed soon. i rubbed the top of my belly lightly.

"dad's working hard, so don't worry. the day you come, your dad and i will be most happiest people on this planet. we can't wait to meet you, baby girl."

i smiled to myself. and so the next chapter of my life begins.
