hyejin and i were exiting out the coffee shop as we talked when we suddenly came to a stop.
"it was very nice to meet you haesoo," hyejin smiled.
"oh, you too," i smiled bowing slightly.
"my brother's a lovely person. he's the most loving person you could ever meet," she began to say. "you should visit our house sometime, this is if you're able to come."
"hm, i'll think about it," i said smiling slightly.
"alright, well, if you do decide on wanting to come, text me," she said. she suddenly held out a piece of paper with her number on it to me. i took it thanking her once more.
"well, i must go now. i'll see you soon haesoo," she smiled. she waved goodbye.
"annyeong."
later, i had gotten home. i decided to take a quick shower before going into my room. at that moment, my phone began to buzz. i looked at the caller ID, and then picked it up.
"hello?" i asked first.
"haesoo-ah, how are you dear?"
"um.. i'm doing alright. what's wrong?"
"your sister wanted to talk to you."i softly let out a sigh before speaking. "where is she?"
in the call, i hear some distant rustle and a few mumbles. it wasn't until i heard my sister's voice speak into the phone.
"unnie!"
"hey, eunbyul," i softly said."can i please visit you? mom and i promise not to be disruptive! it'll be like we aren't even th–"
"yes. you can."
it was silent for a second on the phone before eunbyul's voice spoke once more.
"w-what? really?! are you being serious?" she asked excitedly.
"mm, i figured you've waited a long time," i sighed softly.
"tHANK YOU UNNie!" she said excitedly. a smile grew on my face as i kept my phone close to my ear. "i'll pack now!"
just then, my mother's voice spoke through the phone. "haesoo, is this true? you're letting us come and visit?" she asked.
i plopped myself onto my bed before leaning back against the best post. "yes, i feel like i owe it to eunbyul... and to you," i softly said.
i heard sniffles behind the phone. "mom? are you alright?"
"y-yes, i'm fine. i'm just... happy," she softly said.
"yah, don't cry. please."
my mother gave a light chuckle before sniffling again. "okay, okay, i won't."
"tell me when you guys are coming. i might be able to pick you guys up from the airport," i told her.
"eunbyul's very excited, you know."
"i know," i chuckled softly."thank you haesoo-ah."
"i'll see you guys soon."
