the next day, i came back to work and hoseok came back again just like what i thought would happen. he wore a black beanie over his head and had a dark gray t-shirt with the words 'i'm awesome' printed on the front. i watched as he walked over in front of me while he gave a smile.

"hi," he was he first to say. i looked up to see him still smiling in front of me.

"yes? can i help you?"
"actually yes, you can. i want to go to the park later, but i don't want to go alone."
"so bring your sister."
"she's searchig for a job, so she's busy."
"your mom."

"she's at work," he replied.

"is there seriously no one else you can go with?"

"actually, there's my friend yoongi, but he's busy making music. spitting fire here and there if you know what i mean," hoseok replied again giving a small chuckle at the end. i looked at him confused.

"no, i don't know what you mean.."

"he can't come with me."
"well, i don't know who else to name. so yeah..."

"how about you?" he asked suddenly. i stopped and froze. on the spot, i tried coming up with a small lie just to say no so i wouldn't end up going.

"u-uh... well, i can't because i promised my friend chaeri i would help her buy groceries, so sorry," i said quickly. his face fell suddenly making me feel bad all of a sudden. weird.

"that's okay, haesoo. i'm sure we can do the grocery some other time. why don't you just go with hoseok here?" chaeri suddenly chimed in. i gulped and turned slowly to look at her. slowly, i glared at her but she only smiled and looked at hoseok.

"she'll go with you," chaeri said to him. and instantly, his face lit up.

"how about after when you're finished with work?" he asked.

i stood silently there just glaring at chaeri and then looking back at hoseok. well, i couldn't say anything now, all thanks to chaeri. so then, i sighed.

"yeah... sure. after work..."
"alright. i'll see you."

and with that, he turned on heels and left the store before i could call out to him. he doesn't even have my number, so when will he know when i finish work.

slowly, a small smirk grew on my face but it went away when chaeri suddenly gave a small chuckle.

"he's so into you."
