"see you tomorrow haesoo," chaeri waved goodbye along with luna. i waved back before going on my way back home.
when i arrived, i saw my mother along with my sister sitting in my living room with the tv on. eunbyul perked her head up when she heard the door open and she instantly smiled.
"unnie!" she exclaimed.
"i'm back home from work," i said to them.
"oh, i thought you'd be out later," i hear my mother say.
"uh, where else would i be besides my home?" i asked chuckling slightly before i put my bags down somewhere. just then, i remembered the texts i had with hoseok.
"actually... hoseok wanted to invite you guys to come over to his house. his mother wants to thank you for inviting hoseok for dinner at my place," i told her.
"i think that would be very nice. what about you eunbyul?"
"yes, of course! i'll finally get to see his dog!"i shook my head and smiled. a small sigh escaped my lips. "well, i guess... we'll leave around 5:30pm, so be ready."
"yay!"
luckily, i remembered his address correctly for i remembered what the front of the house had looked like. my mother and sister and i walked up to the front of the door before ringing the doorbell.
a few seconds later, the door opened up and hyejin appeared there with a big smile on her face.
"haesoo! i'm so glad you could make it," she said happily as she embraced me into a hug.
i smiled and awkwardly stood back once we pulled away from the hug. "this is my mother and this is my little sister," i told her introducing them both.
hyejin gave a small and quick gasp before she bowed 90 degrees. "hi ms. kang! it's nice to meet you."
"it's nice to meet you," my mother smiled. eunbyul smiled and waved.
"please, come in," hyejin quickly said. my mother and sister entered in first with myself following in last. suddenly, there was a small bark and the sound of running paws on the floor.
i saw eunbyul gasp suddenly. "oh, right. this is our house dog, mickey," hyejin smiled. eunbyul laughed as the dog played with her.
just then, there was a voice that called from their living room.
"oh, and that's my mother," hyejin smiled.
"oh, let me meet her," my mother said smilinging warmly. hyejin nodded as my mother followed her whereas i stood by the front door taking in the view of the house.
"BOO!"
i smirked and saw hoseok standing behind me. "aww... you didn't get scared," he softly mumbled.
"you got to be more slick than that," i chuckled. he continued to pout until he saw my sister playing with mickey. "oh, is your mother here too?" he asked. i nodded my head in reply.
"she went to say hi to your mother," i said. he made an 'o' shape with his mouth. it was quiet between the both of us for a few seconds before he spoke up again.
"want to see what's upstairs?" he asked.
"upstairs?"
"yeah."i shrugged.
"why not?"
