Mateo: Unique.
Unique: What?
Mateo: I'm uhh sorry for what I did.
Unique: I don't care!
Mateo: Why the fuck are you yelling?
Unique: Why didn't you tell anyone you had a girlfriend?
Mateo: Is that what Ayleo told you?
Unique: Does it matter what he told me?
Mateo: Yes it does because he is lying. I do not go with that girl. She's me ex and Ayo knows that he was there when I broke up with her.
Unique: So what you trying to say?
Mateo: I'm trying to say that Ayo tryna make you mad at me so he can get with you.
Unique: You really think your own blood brother would do that?
He looked away and pulled in his driveway while shaking his head.
Mateo: I don't know but we will find out.
I sighed as he got out and opened my door. I got out as he grabbed my suitcases Ayo came out to help.
Unique: You sure your parents will be fine with me being here.
Ayo: Of course they would.
Mateo: They ain go do shit but treat you like you're their child.
Unique: Jesus I don't want to go to school tomorrow.
We all walked in as Mateo laughed.
Mateo: Well you have too.
Unique: Mateo. No matter how many friends I have or how many more I'll get I'm always gonna get bullied.
Mateo: Not if I'm with you.
Unique: You can't stop people from hurting me we don't have all the same classes.
Mateo: Trust me I've got people for dat.
Unique: What do you mean.
Mateo: You'll find out.
I rolled my eyes. When I finished putting up my clothes I laid down as Mateo turned the lights off.
Mateo: Good night.
Unique: Night.
He laid down wrapping his arms around me. I knew someone would be there for me. But I didn't know I would find them this fast.

The next day I woke up and did my regular morning thing. When I finished I went back to Teo's room.
Mateo: My mom is here she wants to meet you.
Unique: Really.
Mateo: Yea come on.
We walked downstairs to the living. When his mom turned around she smiled. Oh my Lord no wondering why Mateo so cute.
??: Hi your Unique right.
Unique: Yes ma'am.
??: Oh girl just call me Lydia.
Unique: Um ok.
Lydia: It's nice to finally meet you. I heard what happened are you ok.
Unique: Yea I'm fine.
Lydia: Good. I hope y'all have a good day at school.
She hugged and kissed Mateo's forehead then gave me a hug. When we entered the school everybody was staring at me as I walked down the hallway.
??: Girl I don't know why you came here today.
?: She finna get dat ass beat.
?: Aye Maria finna be-
Whatever that boy was about to say got interrupted by Teo.
Mateo: Y'all shut the fuck up leave the damn girl alone.
?: Or what.
Mateo: Which one of y'all said that.
Everybody pointed straight to Trevor. Damn people already scared of Teo.
Mateo: Trevor. Damn thought u was my nigga.
Trevor: Fuck all dat I can't be cool with you if you friends with this bitch.
Teo damn near knocked his head off but Maria walked up.
Maria: Hey bae.
Mateo: Just in case I didn't make this clear before. We. Do. Not. Go. Together.
Maria: That's not what you said last night. Remember.
I laughed. I can't believe she can just sit there and lie.
Mateo: We wasn't even together last night.
Maria: Mateo stop with the bull shit.
Unique: You wanna know how I know you lying.
Maria: Girl you don't know shit. The bond y'all have is him picking you up every morning.
Unique: No actually I was with him all night and I will be for a while. So you should really stop lying and get over the fact that you can't keep a nigga.
Maria: Child you can't even get a nigga. He might be your friend but he'll never date you.
Key: Guess who is dating her tho.
Carshanna: Um no one.
Maria: Exactly.
Omg I know what Keyshawn is doing. I am not finna pretend I go with him.
Imprint: Actually her and Keyshawn go out.
Jesus it's too late. I mean Keyshawn is cute but I could never imagine going with him.
Unique: Um what?
Mateo: Remember he asked you out last night.
Carshanna: What the fuck. But Keyshawn I thought-

Carshanna: But you asked me out.
Key: It was a joke get over it.
Key grabbed my hand and walked off. I don't know what the fuck they got going on but I'm not with it.
