8 : Her Silence

Her silence

Naging manilis ang takbo ng araw. Hindi ko na namamalayang pabalik na pala ako ng Pilipinas. Naghalong pagod at sakit ng ulo ang nararanasan ko nitong mga araw. I thought my flight would be extended pero pinauwi na nila kami ng maaga.

I was about to enter our unit when I suddenly felt nervous. Ba't bigla akong kinabahan. I inmediately entered the passcode and the door freely opened. Bumungad agad sa akin ang naghalong amoy ng isang babae at pabango ni Code. I knew it, hindi pa man ako nakakarating sa mismong kuwarto. I know more than that. I'm not that dumb to understand the situation that's happening inside the room.

I can hear their moans. Mga katawan nilang nagsasalpukan. Everything is clear but I don't even have the right to get mad. Wala akong karapatang magalit dahil sino nga ba naman ako sa buhay niya. Isa rin lang ako sa mga babae niya.

And a deal is a deal. I caught him red handed, doing the act. That means something already.

I heard the woman moan out loud his name. Halos mabingi na ako dahil sa ungol ng babae. Hindi ko na sila pinansin pa. I just slouched of the couch and closed my eyes.

I'm just tired and everything is fucked up. I tried to sleep and just ignore what's happening inside the room. If I would fuck another man, I wouln't do it in my place. I might as well bring him to a hotel.

Ilang sandali pa ng marinig ko ang malakas na hiyaw ng babae. I sign that they've already reached their climax. Nakakabingi din makahiyaw ng babae. I damn know how good Code in bed but I never thought her to scream that loud.

Masakit sa tenga.

Pinakiramdaman ko ang mga nangyayari sa loob. All I heard was silence. They're done finally, makakapagpahinga na ako. I closed my eyes. I just want to rest for now. I'll just deal with the situation when I had already got my rest but for now, I really need to rest.

Hindi ko na namamalayan kung ilang minuto na ba ako nakatulog. I just felt someone starring at me. Hindi na ako nagdalawang isip pang buksan ang mga mata ko. I never realized to see Code on one bended knee and looking at me as if he had done the worst crime in the world.

Buti alam niya. I thought to myself.

Narinig ko din ang paglabas ng babae sa loob ng kuwarto niya.

" Bye Baby, 'till next time" Saad sa kanya ng babae. Hindi niya na iyon nilingon pa dahil ang mga mata lang niya ay nakatingin sa akin.

" Nakatulog na pala ako dito. Sorry, hindi ko na kayo inistorbo. Mukha kaseng nageenjoy ka eh" I put up a fake smile. He's not dumb to know what he did and what would it make me do after knowing what he did. I got up from the couch. Hindi ko napansing nakasandal pa pala ako. I sat back and slowly removed my heels. Nakaluhod lamang siyang nakatingin sa akin.

" And by the way, Code. I'll change the beddings. You know what I mean" I told him. He stood up after a while. Wala parin siyang imik hanggang ngayon. He knows I am not in a good mood. And he is about to see what I am about to do. I removed the bed sheet and the pillow cases. I intend to change it since the whole room smells like the woman who just left. It took me thirty minutes to change the beddings. Nakatingin lamang siya sa ginagawa ko. After changing it. I discarded everything. Ayoko ng anumang bahid na magpapaalala sa akin na may nangyaring kababalaghan dito.

I went for a shower afterwards. It took me more that thirty minutes to have my shower. Sinadya ko talagang patagalin ang presensiya ko sa banyo. I want him asleep when I get to be in bed. And I don't want him touching me now. The thought of him who just touched another woman makes me want to sleep away from him.
