Shadows (a BTS fanfic)

Chapter One

It was finally morning. The morning where I was going to attend Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry for the first time.

I put on a simple pair of blue jeans, white sweater, and tennis shoes. I combed my shoulder-length jet-black hair.

I have doe brown eyes which I inherited from my mum and dad. It ran through the family, I guess.

I grabbed my suitcases and the cage where I put my pet owl, Yang. He's a snowy white owl with some grey spots here and there. Other than that, he's snowy white.

"Morning," I say happily to mum. This wasn't ordinary school, so I should be happy about that. I was just excited to go to a magical school.

Hopefully their food is better than regular school's food.

"You're awfully chipper this morning," mum raised an eyebrow as she handed me some croissants and sandwiches in a bag.

"I'm just excited because this is a magical school! I just hope I won't get a horrible teacher. My past teachers were all rude."

Mom chuckled a little and then we heard the doorbell. I quickly open the door to see my two best friends, Celia and Jordis. They've been my childhood friends since we were born because our mothers were also childhood friends.

Celia looked a little like me since we were Asian but she has longer black hair. Jordis has dark brown hair that was always up in a bun or a ponytail, it was in a bun at the moment.

"Are you excited?!" Jordis squealed not so quietly.

"Shush! And yes," I reply as I usher them in. I see my two older brothers with suitcases in hand. It was one my brother's 7th year, the other has already graduated.

Ethan had his suitcase in his hands while my other older brother had my suitcases.

"Thanks," I take them from him and Yang's cage. Celia also had a snowy white owl named Embala who was a hyper little girl.

Jordis had a toad named Fred. I don't like toads so I try to avoid him as best as I can. It's hard since the owner is one of my best friends though.

"Alright, are we ready to go?" my mum called from the kitchen.

"Yes!" we all call out and then packed into a large vehicle.

We chatted all the way to the train station. Jordis and Celia had already bid their good byes to their family and waited for me to say mine to my mum.

We hugged while she cried a little before I went through the wall/portal at 9 3/4.

Jordis, Celia and Ethan followed close behind me.

The train station on the other side buzzed with excitement.

"Pinch me, I must be dreaming!" Jordis gushed as she looked out around. "Do you see all the hot boys?!"

Celia and I look at each other as we roll our eyes.

Then we boarded the Hogwarts Express with Ethan ditching me for his friends; I was perfectly fine.

We all changed into our robes and then found a seat near the middle of the train.

"This is all so exciting!" Celia squealed.

"Obviously, who wouldn't? This better be better than ordinary school. I couldn't stand math!" I sigh heavily.

Jordis giggles a little. "Their will always be math, Harp."

I nod sadly, "I know."

Then we heard a knock at the door. Celia opens it to find three boys. They were also in their robes. One was really tall, the other had noticeable dimples, and the third was blonde.
