Hagrid was skipping stones in the nearby river.

Hermione, Ron, Harry, Jordis and I decided to visit him when we had the chance. Our end-of-the-year exams were getting pretty hard so we had to study a lot.

"Did something happen? You don't seem like yourself," Hermione asks.

"I pleaded that he'd never hurt anyone but they still voted against me," Hagrid starts explaining without telling us what was happening. "That stupid Lucius Malfoy was there so of course he made a case against me."

"Hagrid, what's going on?" Jordis interrupts him.

Hagrid finally stops throwing rocks and turns around. I see some tears still fresh on his cheeks.

"The Ministry of Magic sentenced Buckbeak to death!"

"But he wouldn't hurt anyone!" Jordis stands up angrily from her rock.

"Exactly! I told them so but they didn't believe me. That stupid Malfoy!"

After our short break we had to go back to class.

It was Divination again with Professor Trelawney. I guess Buckbeak's death sentence impacted Jordis a whole lot since she didn't pay attention at all to our wacky teacher.

When we were asked to look into our orbs to look into the future, Jordis abruptly stood up and knocked over her orb.

"This is all ridiculous!" she walks away quickly with all eyes on her.

I have a feeling she wasn't talking about the class.

Later, instead of going to Study Hall we (me, Celia, Harry, Hermione and Ron) followed Jordis to Hagrid's hut.

There was a bunch of giant pumpkins and in the middle of it was Buckbeak.

Malfoy and his stupid followers were also there, chuckling behind a large rock. After a few seconds he finally realized we were there.

"Come here to enjoy the show?" Draco smirks.

Jordis rushes forward and cracks her knuckles before confronting the blonde prick.

"Oh, I'm so scared," Draco laughs at his own stupid joke.

I could tell Jordis had had it.   In a blink of an eye she punches Malfoy straight in the jaw.

That was enough for him and his cronies to run away.

"Nice punch," I comment. "I've taught you well."

She just nods and we all crowd behind the pumpkin patches.

The executioner, Professor Dumbledore and Cornelius Fudge were already at Hagrid's hut.

"We have to go," Harry whispers to us.

Jordis sheds some tears before she waves good bye to Buckbeak.

We all look at the hill.

The executioner raised his axe, and then let it down. Crows squawked and flew away from the pumpkin patch.

Hermione immediately cries on Ron's shoulder while Celia hugs Jordis as she begins crying hard.

I look sadly at the pumpkin patch before we were ordered inside again.

After that scene we weren't able to focus. I could hardly remember Professor McGonagall's lecture that day; and I had been waiting for that lesson all week.

Finally the day was over.

I was with Jordis and Hermione while they still mourned Buckbeak.

All of a sudden Ron's rat runs away.
