Shadows (a BTS fanfic)

Chapter Ten

All the quidditch players wiz passed the Ravenclaw booth. Wind blows my hair to my right fiercely and the natural wind didn't help with the cold either.

This was the longest quidditch I experienced since I got here. Malfoy was a horrible seeker which would give Harry an advantage, but he hasn't caught the snitch yet.

Gryffindor had 30 points while Slytherin just scored another goal and is moved to 90 points. I still was torn between the two teams since my friends were on opposite and opposing houses.

A rouge blugar started to chase Harry. He was chasing the snitch and the blugar chased him underneath the booths.

I heard cloth ripping as the bulgar kept missing Harry.

Harry and Draco did a lot of rounds circling underneath the booths before Malfoy tripped and somersaulted onto the ground.

Harry finally comes out with the snitch in hand but he had injured his arm.

Hermione and I run to see if it was injured severely only for Gilderoy to beat us to it. He preformed his spell wrong and mushed Harry's bones together instead of fixing his arm so we had to take him to the Hospital Wing.

Before we left I gave Gilderoy a swift kick on the shin. I hope it hurt.

"That wasn't necessary you know," Hermione said, "but I would pay to see that again."

"He deserved it," I smile to myself. He's a wizard wannabe, not an all powerful one.

Once we make it to the Hospital wing I excuse myself.

"Serena!"

I turn around to see Yoongi.

"Hey," I wave.

"Have you seen Namjoon? I can't find him," he asks me.

I pause in my steps. "Now that you mention it...I haven't seen him all week."

I look up and meet Yoongi's eyes, but they were passed mine. If it was possible his face went paler.

I look to where he was staring and saw Namjoon. On the ground, petrified.

I run over to him and check his pulse.

"Namjoon!" I shout to make sure it really wasn't a prank. That kid loved to prank people with Jin and Jungkook.

He really wasn't waking.

"I'll get Madame Pomfrey," I hear Yoongi's fast footsteps run away from me.

A few minutes later Professor McGonagall came with Madame Pomfrey (the nurse). As they came more students had gathered.

Madame Pomfrey and Professor McGonagall take him away as I stand with Yoongi still horrified by the sight.

Professor Dumbledore shows up again with Filch and Snape.

"How did this happen?" I whisper to him.

"I don't know," his dark eyes scan around the hallway.

"Students, it has come to my attention that now students are petrified, I have to announce that Hogwarts is no longer safe," Professor Dumbledore calls out.

I stare at him and everyone in horror. It was like a kick to the gut.

"Harper."

I look up at Yoongi to see him staring back.

"We have to get to class. Even if the school is no longer safe, there is still a chance that the culprit will get caught and the school will go back to normal. Until then, we still have classes."
