Chapter Thirty-Six

"It was weird since it felt like last year's Christmas wasn't so long ago. I remember that Logan, Taehyung, Jimin, you, and Jee had joined us.

This time it was Hermione. She still felt horrible about Ron. I wish she could just get over him. What was so good about his personality, anyway?

When we got home, Jordis, Celia and I separated ways. Hermione was allowed to stay with me so that was great.

The first night we just watched horror movies. After, I introduced her to K-dramas.

We had a marathon for Descendants of the Sun. She immediately fell in love with Yoo Si Jin and Kang Mo Yeon. Who couldn't, though?

The next morning we opened up presents. Every here and there she had to look at her list before she got depressed again.

After, we had lunch and met up with the others. By others, I just meant Jordis and Celia. The café that we went with the boys soon became our hang out spot.

This time we didn't have a wild Jee so the trip was actually peaceful. Then we went back home and did our own thing.

After dinner, we started watching Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. We stayed up till 6 in the morning watching it. As usual, I cried my eyes out.

On the last day, I got a call from Jee. She was finally asked on a date by Jimin. I guess the two are now dating. 

I wasn't really in touch with Courtney so I didn't know what she did, and that was pretty much my Christmas," I say to Yoongi.

We were now back at school at the Main Hall, eating lunch. I sat next to Yoongi and Jee. The two had some things sorted out during their break.

It was mostly about her and Jimin. Yoongi didn't allow their relationship at first.

"Yoongerz was really pissed when I told him I was going on a date," Jee giggles.

"See? She giggles! What the hell did Jimin do to my little dongsaeng?!" Yoongi motions to Jee who was now having a giggling fit.

I shrug, "She has a boyfriend now. Who knows?"

"I know that, but she usually never giggles!"

"She has a boyfriend, end of the sentence," a girl cuts into our conversation. I look up to see she was gorgeous.

The girl had wavy blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes. She had a green headband and Slytherin robes on.

"I'm Minah. And you are?" she examines me with a disgusted look on her face.

"Harper."

"Well, Harper. That's my spot you're sitting in," Minah gives me a glare worthy of the devil.

"Oh? Well, Minah. These tables are ranked by--"

"House, I know. Now tell me, why are you in the Slytherin cafeteria?" she smirks to herself before batting her eyes...flirtatiously at Yoongi?

"I was just visiting my friends," I motion to Jee and Yoongi.

"How can Min JeeHyun and Min Yoongi want to hang out with a Ravenclaw like you?" she sneers.

"It seems you know me but I don't know you," Jee looks at Minah with a bored face. "And by the way, she is my friend. Also, I won't give you permission to date my Oppa."

"Excuse me?" Minah did look taken aback. "He's my Oppa!"

Oh shit.

"And I don't care if you give me permission or not. It's Suga Oppa's choice," she flips her hair back dramatically.

"Suga?" Yoongi chuckles darkly before looking at her right in the eye with a piercing glare. "I am not your Oppa. Jee is my younger sister so she has a right to call me that. Harper is my friend and by the way, you have a wart on your nose."

Just as he said that a giant wart appeared onto her nose. She shrieks before running off.

"That was certainly interesting," I state.

"Now back to Jimin Oppa..."

"Oppa?!"

"Yes, now let me continue!"

I laugh at the two siblings bickering.

"Harper!" I look over my shoulder to see Hermione.

"What?"

"You won't believe what just happened!" she sits next to me excitedly.

"Spill."

"Ron was in the infirmary earlier, I know, I'll answer questions later. Lavender was also there. He said that he was calling her name but once he hear what he was saying, he was saying my name!"

"Don't tell me," I sigh. "The list won't help anymore. You really like him, don't you?"

She nods with enthusiasm. "Right then and there, he broke up with Lavender without knowing."

"Is that Aragog?" Jee, Hermione, and I follow Yoongi to the window.

There was a giant spider facing up with Hagrid, Professor Slughorn, and Harry around it.

"Whose Aragog?" Jee and I ask.

"Nevermind."

The year was almost gone now. Dark clouds hovered over the school, heavy with rain. The sky was hidden and we couldn't see anything beyond the school grounds because of heavy fog.

In my family, this was usually a horrible sign. On the day my dad died, it was the same cloudy and dark day.

We were all in class when we saw something weird moved outside through a large window. We all crowd around the window to see giant skull with a snake coming out of its mouth.

The professor ushers us away from the window. Then we hear some loud clattering from the Main Hall.

We all evacuate the classroom and run outside to see the snake and skull closer. It was awful.

There were already some students there, crowding around a crying Harry. I try my best to move to the front when I see...Professor Dumbledore.

He was lying on the ground, his cold dead eyes glaring at the sky. His skin was cold and pale. His cheeks were wet from Harry's tears.

From the corner of my eyes I see Celia crying on Aaron's shoulders and Jordis still in shock. I just stood there, looking at the dead body of Albus Dumbledore.

Ginny pushes through the ground to comfort Harry. Professor McGonagall raises her wand.

A light beamed from its point. Other students did the same to clear the sky. The sun shone through the dark, heavy clouds and peered right at his dead body.

Was there going to be a Hogwarts after this?
