Jordis's P.O.V

"This is unfair!" I shout at my mum.

You-know-who was found in my school and  my mum didn't want me to go to Hogwarts this year. She ignores me and waves her wand at my window.

Steel bars appear and attach themselves to my window so I can't escape in the night.

"It's for your safety, and you better not escape," mum gives me a warning glare before walking away and casts a spell on the broom to sweep the house.

"Why do you even want to go to that cruddy school anyway?" Nico, my seven-year-old brother snickers at me.

"You're just jealous since you have more than a year to go," I stick my tongue out. This was going to be the worst 12th birthday ever; I usually spend it with my friends once we reach Hogwarts.

Sure we hang out in the summer but the week before we go to school Harp and her family take a vacation for a family reunion and Celia was going camping.

It was now one day before school starts and Harp and Celia came back from their vacation. It was around 11 while I was listening to my music when I felt a faint tap on my window.

I look over my shoulder to see Harp and her brothers in an enchanted car, flying at my window.

I immediately get my frog and pack my things as quick as I can. They brake down the steel bars, that was loud enough for my mum to storm into my room.

I was already out the window and waved good bye as we flew off into the night.

Harper's P.O.V

It was unfair once I found out Jordis couldn't come, so I told my mum. She knew that Professor Dumbledore would keep all his students safe, plus she said the second year was more fun than the first and that Jordis shouldn't miss out.

She advised a plan with my older brothers to bring her to our house where we would get her things and go to school together.

Of course her mum would go looking for her and that's why once we eat breakfast quickly we'd go to Diagon Alley.

"My mum is going to kill me," Jordis sighs heavily.

"Not if you-know-who kills you first," I laugh to myself.

"You know that this situation is serious," she slaps me on my shoulder.

"We know, but Dumbledore is more powerful than him," my older brother Ethan adds.

Jordis and I nod our heads in agreement.

We exit the car quickly once we make it back to my house. My mum is already awake and packed our lunches for the ride. Me and my brother had packed our luggage before getting Jordis.

"Now let's travel quickly, the sun is just getting up," she ushers us to the fireplace.

Jordis gets into her robes while my brother walks inside the fireplace and takes a pile of special ash from my mum's place.

He shouts Diagon Alley loudly and vanishes into bright vivid green smoke.

Jordis and I follow suite so the next thing we knew we ended up in Diagon Alley.

"Ooh, the new bookstore's open!" I gasp excitedly and rush in.

There was a bunch of people crowded around my favorite genre section so we pushed passed everyone to see what the commotion was.

Gilderoy Lockhart, smothering Harry and saying he would get his whole collection without charging him.

If there was anything I hated more than you-know-who, it was posers. Gilderoy was one of the biggest phonies in the wizardry world.

Not to mention girls my age gush over him and he's a middle aged man!

"Calm down," Jordis pokes me in the arm.

I grit my teeth before I felt someone pushing me into the wall.

I look behind my shoulder to see Malfoy smirking at me.

He then turned his attention to Harry, Hermione and the rest of the Weasley's. All of a sudden Lucius Malfoy, Draco's equally stupid dad, came into the bookstore and made a commotion by insulting everyone.

He claimed to know everything about Hermione's parents stating that they were muggles. I knew they were but would he know?

After the insults, he and Draco leave with a small snicker. Me and Jordis walk over to Hermione and the others.

"Harper! Jordis!" Hermione happily greets us with her genuine smile.

"Have you seen Celia?" I ask her.

She shakes her head.

We say our greetings before searching a little more. When we finished shopping for our supplies and looking around for her, we go to the train station.

Jordis and I get on without a problem and start chatting about where Celia could be when she appeared out of nowhere.

"Where have you been?" Jordis asks her as she sits next to me.

"My flight was delayed so I was almost late," that's when I noticed her cheeks were flushed so she had to run here.

"Flight? But didn't you come back from America a day ago?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Like I said, really delayed," she tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

We talk about our vacation when Namjoon, Yoongi, and Taehyung join us at our booth.

"Namjoon! Yoongi! Tae! Great to see you all!" we all exchanged greeting hugs even if it was awkward when it was Yoongi's turn.

I could tell Jordis really liked Tae even if she hasn't told me or Celia yet. She's obvious as day, so I bet she enjoyed her greeting with Taehyung.

When we made it to Hogwarts we had our annual feast and new first years were sorted into their houses.

Three new students came into Ravenclaw and we got along fine.

Namjoon and I escorted them into our commons and showed them around before we went into our separate rooms.

"Aish I missed this place!" Leah face plants into her pillow.

"Why do you miss this place so much?" Rose, another roommate in my dorm, asks her.

"My parents had to go to Germany for a business trip so my uncle had to stay to take care of me and my younger sister," she groans.

"What's so bad about your uncle?" I raise an eyebrow. Now that has become a habit.

"He says no screen, no phones, no friends, and all we did was play checkers."

The color drains from Rose so she's extremely pale against her bright blonde hair.

"Yeah let's not about that horror," she shudders and slips under covers.

Me and Leah follow suite and I fall asleep quickly.
