Chapter Nineteen: Quidditch World Cup

"Wake up!"

I cover my face with my pillow.

"We have to get going!"

I groan as I rub my eyes open.

"We have to go where exactly?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Today's the world cup, remember?" Jordis says.

Oh yeah, we had to go the the stadium today where the national quidditch games are held.

I wake Celia up and we both get dressed before my mum escorts us all to a clearing nearby. There was this trip planned for us awhile ago.

Jordis and Celia decided to meet up at my house to begin the trip since our guide was close to my home.

Everyone else was there already with their families and a middle-aged man.

"Everyone I'm your guide, Amus Diggory. Now please follow me," he motions for us to follow him.

Jordis, Celia and I catch up with everyone and when I'm close enough I see Jee bouncing up and down.

"Are you that excited for this trip?" I ask her.

She turns to look at me and her eyes sparkle with mischief.

"Joha i bunwigiga joha~!"

I raise an eyebrow. "Why are you saying you like this atmosphere?"

"Joha nan jigeum nega joha," she starts to sing happily.

"Yoongi!"

I see him look over his shoulder.

"Why is your sister acting like this?"

"I might have...given her an Americano," he rubs the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Yeah, well she just said she likes someone! How can she be on a sugar high this early in the morning?" I reply.

"jeongmal banhaesseo oneul bam," Jee suddenly jumps onto Yoongi's shoulders.

"How can you get her out of this sugar high?!" I was starting to get scared because of how she was acting.

"Grab her purse!" he orders me quickly.

I do and open it, was there some sort of thing to calm her down in it?

"Why is there a lollipop?" I ask while pulling that out.

"I don't know, she always has a lollipop. Now give me it."

I hand him the lollipop and he shoves it in Jee's mouth.

She stopped singing but still held tightly onto Yoongi. 

"Hopefully she has a sugar crash now," Jungkook shudders behind me.

"Promise me you'll never buy her a caffeine drink this early ever again," I look Yoongi straight in the eyes.

He nods.

"This is amazing!" I hear Hermione say in the distance.

I finally turn my attention to where we were heading.

There was a grassy hill and an old boot right in the middle.

"Now everyone, grab ahold of the boot on my count!" Amus calls out.

"One, two, three!" 

We all grab onto the shoe. Suddenly the world becomes distant and clouds swirl all around us.

"It's a port key!" I hear Hermione scream over the loud wind.

"Let go!" Amus shouts.

"Why would we do that?!" I hear Jimin frantically wailing.

"How far above are we from the ground?!" Hobi's face something else. He was extremely scared and very fearful.

Soon I lost my grip and let go. I landed on the ground with a hard thud.

I was close to the ground but it still hurt. A few seconds later Namjoon, Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook make it next to me.

After everyone makes it out of the portal.

I finally stand up and dust myself off.

I look up to see we were on a small hill, and underneath was multiple tents pitched up.

"Now this is amazing," I gasp when we all enter a tent.

It looked pretty small from the outside but it was as big as a small house once you got inside. There were even furniture and carpeting. I really do love magic.

"Now come on, unpack quickly!" mum orders.

Jordis and Celia's parents couldn't come so my mum suggested they go with us.

"Hurry, the game's almost starting!" I say excitedly.

When we're all done we make our way to the nearby stadium. A lot of people were already there so we had to weave through a lot of them.

Finally we make our way to the highest point. That was where the best view was.

A bunch of gray and green whizzes passed us and we see giant fireworks.

The people on the brooms shoot another firework and a big green leprechaun starts dancing before it also explodes again.

Next the red team comes by, Bulgaria's team.

Viktor Krum was an extremely popular quidditch player so it wasn't a surprise when the crowd went wild at his appearance.

"Wait, what happened to Jee?" Celia turns to me.

"She fell asleep since she had too much sugar," I reply, my eyes still transfixed on the game before us.

Then Cornelius Fudge gives an announcement, stating that today was the 422nd Quidditch World Cup.

Finally the game starts and Viktor Krum was pretty impressive. I had never seen anyone fly so fast.

After the game we go back to our tent.

"That was really cool, and I usually don't care for sports," Jordis nods her approval.

"Then why do you come to the quidditch matches at school?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Because my team is playing, obviously!" 

"Get out!" we hear a man shouting outside.

I look outside the tent to see fire was everywhere. Dark hooded figures suddenly appear with their wands waving.

"Hey, didn't he just tell you to get out?!" I look to my left to see another girl around my age. She had dirty blonde hair and brown eyes.

"Um, yeah," I turn around and help my mum pack quickly before we run outside.

We were just in time since we exited the tent when it caught on fire.

I still looked behind me and saw skull masks underneath the hoods.

That was when I just bolted the hell out of there.
