Chapter Forty-Four: Camping (pt. one)

Harper's P.O.V

It was a week into summer, my last summer until I have to sign up for college. 

I was hardly home since I was helping clean up the school. Jordis, Celia, Courtney, Jee, and some of the other boys came to help me as well.

I was so glad Yoongi volunteered to clean up Snape's office instead of me. I don't think I would've handled it.

At the moment I was having a lunch break with the others. We were all near the woods eating some food, grouped into a circle.

"And then the whole rock wall started collapsing!" Jungkook gushes, trying to imitate the wall falling with his arms and hands.

"He barely escaped. I have no idea why you're so happy about it now," Jordis shakes her head as she continues to eat her sandwich.

"Even I heard it from across the school! Kookie, you better be more careful next time," Jee pouts a little before she takes another sip from her Americano.

"Besides signing up for college, are you guys busy this week?" Courtney suddenly perks up.

"No," I shake my head.

"Do you have any plans? I really need a distraction," Celia sulks a little. She and Aaron had gotten into a fight earlier so she wanted to give him some space and some times for her.

"If you guys aren't busy, can we go camping?!" Courtney looks at us excitedly.

"Ooh where?" Jungkook turned his attention to her with wide eyes.

"I was thinking near the new falls that were just discovered. We could spend one or two nights, long enough to clear our minds."

"I don't like camping but I guess," I shrug. Celia nods and agrees with me.

"I'll ask him Jiminie can come. He can, right?" Jee asks.

Courtney nods.

"Yoongerz, are you going?" she looks at her older brother. "It'll be fun, and Serena will be there..."

I didn't hear the last part but I could tell Yoongi was disturbed before sighing, "fine."

"And can I invite my other friend?" Jungkook asks.

"Who?" Jordis raises an eyebrow at him. "Girl or guy?"

"Emily. I met her in Gryffindor awhile ago and we became good friends."

Celia gives me a look on her face that I return. Kookie was still somewhat scared of girls, and if he wants a girl to tag along with us...

"Then it's settled! So whose all coming?" Courtney steals a notebook pad and pencil from me.

"Me, you, Celia, Yoongi, Jee, Jimin, Emily, and Jordis. Anyone else?" I reply.

"Can Hobi?" she asks me sheepishly.

"Oh, oh! And Tae?!" Jordis says happily.

I sigh a little, "Fine. But they're sharing their own tent."

Jordis and Courtney start fangirling loudly. Yeah, I think we're back to normal.

We all agreed we'd stay for three days and two nights. Once I got home I immediately started packing.

Courtney and Jordis both called me an hour later to tell me Hobi and Taehyung were coming. I could tell Courtney was really happy.

We all had also decided to leave the next day so I quickly practiced my instrument before doing my house chores.

I mainly just watched some dramas and cried my eyes out dry before I finally fell asleep on my Kleenex box.
